Have you considered retiring piglet until he's got some resources behind him, if you let him have your arena winnings for a few weeks at least he can get the basic powermints if the long awaited improvemint event happens.
@MAGICDAVESHROOM I got him up to level 4 Ice Bloom but totally ran him out of gauntlets. You are right of course. Best strat for next couple tourns is to just let him get his 5 gems from free plays and save up gauntlets. Keep gems for

I'm pleased to report that Dandelion was made available for actual acquisition in the shop. So I got it several months earlier than expected. Been a long time since I had a level 1 Plant. XD
Then it took about 200 Sprouts, but I was able to get it to appear in my Zen Garden. All I need now is Missile Toe, Blooming Heart, and three other charming plants, should any get added later*, and my Zen Garden will be full of happy plants.
*I've noticed a trend lately that all recent additions barring Dazey Chain and Ice Bloom have been... ugly, to put it bluntly. The designers must be running out of ideas...
- @Amethytus I am curious~~ out of all the world plants anyway, which plant do you think is the most beautiful or cutest?
- @Perfume-shroom92 Why do I sense a wily female fishing for a compliment? I think Bonk Choy and Snap Dragon pass the cuteness test but they both pale in comparison to the spritz blast from the past. 😉

It definitely is not a trap!!! XD I know @Amethytus favourite plant is dusk lobber, but just wondering whether she thinks DL is beautiful or is there another plant? For me shadow shroom is the cutest, I got the costume with the long cat ears for it and its adorable.... awww....
Yeah, Dusk Lobber is at the top of that list. Missile Toe comes in an extremely close second. After that... not much else. Most of the rest of the plants zig-zag wildly between cute and ugly (with some pug ugly ones thrown in for good measure). For example, I think the humble Peashooter is adorable, but Electrici-Tea is hideous. Pokra is pug ugly (so ugly, she reverts back to cute) and is another close favorite of mine.
But yeah, I only have two plants that I truly think are beautiful, and I specified them.
Tomorrow, Missile Toe will be mine at last...
