Pvz2 iPad arena crashes

Question

Running an iPad 3d generation, iOS 18.2 currently but iOS 17 previously. Arena crashes. Gets to the select opponent and displays plant choices…and then crashes. It’s been doing this for weeks. We’ve offloaded and reinstalled the game, no effect. It appears others have had similar issues without any word from EA on whether or when this will be fixed.

Plays fine on iPhones, but we have the iPad precisely because the screen is larger…much easier to play (well, if and when it actually works, anyway).

Been playing for years and would hate to stop now, but we’re running out of patience.

We will unfortunately have to wait for an update to fix everything.There is nothing we can do as players.

Since installing ios18.2 both iPhone &amp; iPad crash rright after “prepare your defences’Restarted iPad several times &amp; once arena workedis this thread enough to get EAs attention? I sent several emails a few days ago from a previous case but no response so far

I'm in the same boat. Same platform. How on earth do you open a new case? I've lost tons of gauntlets, not to mention the occasional time when the game refuses to give me the 10 gems for completing all the daily tasks (separate issue, I kmow, but another case where I'm losing earned resources!) Like you, I've played for years but am about to stop if this doesn't get fixed soon.
