Re: BattleZ Seasons Practice Room

I remember Jaw Breakers and those are still available.  I remember pop caps too !  No need for a hammer here you just throw them to the ground and 'BAM!'

  • Worst thing about living in the UK, no US sweets/savouries. You can source but the prices! Not worth £9 ($11.40 USD) for a box of bloody Cheez-Its, much as I love them... and now I want some caps... sorry, gone off-topic!

This is what happens when you eat too many jaffa cakes.

The second picture is how i looked before.

You sure are awake early today !!

I am off to beddy bye in just a few more minutes...

  • Blover, Chard Guard, Reinforce-mint, SUN plant (MoonFlower), your favotire or most powerful offensive plant (Laser Bean, Bowling Bulb, Dusk Lobber, Shadow Peashooter, perhaps Primal Peashooter to go with Blover/Chard Guard...

Daisy Chain slows down Zombies...to use or not to use !

Portal will wreak havoc on defenses so be sure to have plenty of SUN for fast repairs/rebuild !

  • I am still below 1M but improving little by little...Primal Pea, Blover, Chard Guard, MoonFlower and Reinforce-mint

Graves are really getting in the way so I think another approach is required...Peppermint !  but what to remove/replace ?

  • Replace primal peashooter with laser bean, don't bother with shadow peashooter.

I'll try that.  Peppermint was a bit of a dud first try !

update:  that worked !  just over 1M with Laser Bean instead of Primal Pea

the tin hat is working overtime today !

  • Solution for graves popping up in final 30 seconds...make two open lawn spaces in far left column for placing Blover and Reinforce-mint...using these along with Power Lily (instead of Chard Guard) has been very effective.  Shadow Peashooter and MoonFlower have been a good combo for an average just under 1.5M

  • Short BattleZ Seasons featuring Explode O'Nut

My fav plant Shadow Peashooter will take center stage along with side kick MoonFlower.  Duplicate Explode O'Nut if you have Imitator, Power Lily and your favorite mint !

Don't forget that Primal Wall-nuts block the Hair Metal Gargantuars' shock waves from destroying plants behind them.

  • Bombegranate and Tombstones (Graves) short 3 day challenge

Slow start but the pace picks up after the first Sarcauphagous' arrive and then the Tombstones start popping up and displacing plants all over the place...leave a spot on the lawn in the bottom left corner to place your mints or Blover !!

Not always easy to drop Bombegranate on the far right once the Graves pop up and the Witch Hazel's have created plants out of Zombies to defend the lawn.

Use early Bombegranate in the middle columns to 'block' the placement of later Tombstones.  It helps out a whole bunch.

MagicDave's plant selection:  Witch Hazel (x2), MoonFlower, Bombardmint, Enchantmint

2M for my second Practice attempt in Silver League

Tried Caulipower instead of Witch Hazel and only reached 1M

    initial layout below

  • Bowling Bulb initial layout for Mastery or MAX level plants

MoonFlowers are needed ASAP with as many Bowling Bulbs as you can place far left !

  • Final layout using Shadow Pea and Dusk Lobber with Conceal and Bombard mints !

  • Coldwind73 was spot on !!

    >4.57M using Blover, Chard Guard, Reinforce-mint with Bowling Bulbs far left !

Just a little more work than using Witch Hazel and I nailed the timing perfectly !!

(previous attempts had been in the low 3M range)

  • 4.367M Boosterama Bombegranate featuring Bowling Bulb and Appease-mint with side kicks Squash and Primal Potato Mine.

Supporting role played by Twin Sunflower.

  • Next week's Zombot Dinotronic Mechasaur BattleZ is going to be super rough on low level plants.  Hard to destroy a Zombot Dinotronic Mechasaur when you do not have strength to do so.  The destruction of entire lanes just ruins any chance to build on the lawn.  Jalapeno to the rescue !

My best so far is just over 1M (2 tries just below 1M) with Level 1 Bowling Bulb, Jalapeno, Explode O'Nut, Primal Potato Mine, Twin Sunflower

initial layout has dual Twin Sunflowers and three Bowling Bulbs far left

Column of Explode O'Nut far right

A few Primal Potato Mines in the third column from the far left (to slow down dino tossed Zombies)

After Let's Rock place as many Bowling Bulbs as possible in far left columns 1,2,4 and replace Twin Sun if vaporized, keep third column from left full with EON or PPM and same for far left - EON or PPM when one needs to be replaced

PF a Bowling Bulb if over run by Zombies

    Bonus reached only 60,000

  • Next week's Zombot Dinotronic Mechasaur BattleZ with high Mastery plants

Modern Day Shadow family plants (Shadow Pea and/or Dusk Lobber) have yet to produce 10M score

Primal Peashooter also under 10M as a combo with Reinforce-mint/Peanut

My best so far is just over 10.5M with Bowling Bulb, dual Jalapeno, Primal Potato Mine, Appease-mint

(so much for a Level 5 Dazey Chain - never a chance to place it)

Initial layout - two columns of Bowling Bulbs far left and one column of Primal Potato Mine far right

  • Toadstool BattleZ Seasons next week

credit for the first suggestion/screenshot of Caulipower goes to Tigerol - my first attempt was >500k with Level 1 plants and >3.5M with high Mastery plants

Caulis placed far left columns     MoonFlowers in middle columns until replaced by Bowling Bulbs

high Mastery Modern Day Shadow Pea, Conceal mint, Bombard mint, Explode O'Nut - second try 3.89M

Level 1 Modern Day Shadow Pea, Conceal mint, Bombard mint, Explode O'Nut - first try 716k

Shadow Peas far left with a block of MoonFlowers in column 4,5  Explode O'Nuts far right columns

  • Boosterama begins!

    Level 1 plants

Caulipower to the far left (start with 3) and end with two columns...

MoonFlowers in columns 3,4 (start with 5 and add up to 8 ASAP to have enough SUN later)

Explode O'Nut (EON) or use Primal Potato Mine (PPM) column far left and add/replace as needed

(first column of EON or PPM gives time to add MoonFlowers and Caulis)

replace EON or PPM with SnapDragon.   Helps rid the lawn of ice !

  • Level 1 plants    1.432M score

Caulipower to the far left (start with 3) and end with two columns...

MoonFlowers in columns 3,4 (start with 8 and have enough SUN later for Toadstools)

Toadstools can damage the Tombstones and with Boost will take out Necromancy waves

  • Mastery plants >8M Practice Room (Jade League) score using Reinforce-mint, Bombard-mint, Peanut, Power Lily, Cherry Bomb - just my second attempt on my older Android S7 phone.

initial layout three columns of Peanuts far left and just keep adding as many as possible while spamming Reinforce-mint

If you require dual Power Lily then remove Cherry Bomb to use Imitator for Power Lily

First attempt on my Android J7 device was 8.8M !  Wowza - poor Zomboss given a major beat down !!!

  • Electrici-tea 3.52M Practice Room Lwevel 1 plants

Hurikale, Chard Guard (CG) , Dual Blover, Reinforce-mint

layout - far right two columns of Chard Guard  (CG) and place three Electrici-tea to the left of the CGs

    timing is critical
