Re: Bundles purchased
AFAIK:
Super Fruit Bundle: Bombegranate, Grapeshot, Electric Blueberry
Gold League Bundle: No plant - just seeds and gems
Pinata Hunt Upgrade Bundle: no idea but I'd guess it's just seeds
Escape Root Bundle: Escape Root

Thx all of you for searching - ther fruit bundle for Grapeshot/Bombegranate is the one I purchased
I hate tap tap tap plants like Strawburst !!!
So Sweet Potato and Electric Currant had to be Gemium or Epic Quests years ago...
IIRC, I got my Electric Currant from the Electrical Boogaloo quest and I exchanged 100 or so gems for Sweet Potato when it was on offer.
Yes I remember, reminds me of Wild West hard levels when I first play it.
that was all so long ago
sad there is no repository for information about the Epic Quests
tyvm Hypno
what about before 2017 ?
I remember getting Torchwood, Witch Hazel, Cactus, Power Lily, Gold Bloom, and many other plants for FREE while the original Android was still supported and this was 2014,2015 timeframe
@lawmfw The Epic Quests were first released with the update 4.6 in March 2016. There were no Epic Quests in 2014 or 2015. There was a Travel Log with basic Quests like "defeat X Zombies" but the rewards were gems, coins and points (not plants).
I'm 95% sure that you bought Witch Hazel, Cactus, and Power Lilly.
The only "former" Gemiums are: Torchwood, Imitator, Starfruit, Dandelion, (Sweet Potato, Ghost Pepper, Electric Currant, Aloe)
The only plants that were available by completing a Quest are: Gold Bloom, Electric Currant, Aloe
@PowerToss I think you are correct as I can still remember spending a weekend in early 2016 playing level 10 of Electrical Boogaloo.... and I did get Gold Bloom before that.
There was an event when EA made a lot of plants available for gems, I wanted imitator but sadly was 20 or so gems short so could not get it, -- this was also my regrets for not watching the 'free' ads for gems.
Old McDonald, that is the event I probably added many plants from yet I have no receipt or method to verify...many plants were Gemium and I always added those even if I never used them (like Witch Hazel)
@lawmfw You should go through your purchase history since Witch Hazel has always been a Cash-only plant.
It was included in some bundles:
- Lawn of Doom Bundle/Halloween Bundle: Ghost Pepper, Witch Hazel, JOL
- Transformation Bundle: Hypnoshroom, Witch Hazel, Toadstool
Maybe you used a different Email/Google Play ID when you bought it.
Lawn of Doom Bundle sounds right but that was how long ago ?? I wanted Ghost pepper !
@lawmfw The first time this bundle was available was in October/November 2016 for $12.99. It contained Ghost Pepper, Witch Hazel and JOL. From then on it was in the store every year around Halloween. Do you have JOL on your profile(s)?
yes, I remember getting Ghost Pepper for one account via Gems and then later via Lawn of Doom
yes, I have JOL...only missing four original plants to date: Cactus (gemium originally) , Snow Pea, Toadstool, Chomper (who I did have as a gemium oh so long ago)
@lawmfwdid you lose your account or you're here to know what plants you bought?
Or you just start a new profile?
I did not lose an account but when Shine Vine was introduced I found that I was missing Sweet Potato in my Level 1 profile but not missing from my Mastery profile. I went to double check the entire Almanac before opening a CASE and also found that Electric Currant was also missing but both had been there in 2019 and long before that...
I submitted a CASE and eventually both were returned to my Level 1 profile.
But now I wonder how I ever gained both plants to begin with as I looked at my Google Purchase History and could not find a purchase of either plant but did find a few Bundles...and of course there were EPIC Quests and Gemium events in previous years but there is no record of those even when your account is "Restored" after an uninstall/install process.
So what happens again if an Epic Quest or Gemium (and now seedium) plants simply disappears without any record of our obtaining it ???
Happy to see the Bundle link...
I hope this explanation helps...others may have the same experience sadly one day in the not so distant future.
very wise but I never expected this type of issue when I first began playing years ago
even if I had, laptop disk crashes and dead USB backup drives would render the effort meaningless now
kinda funny actually - best to keep all my vinyl, cassettes, and CDs as one day all the digital files could disappear too
Always, if I earned a Gemium plant for one profile I also earned it for the other profiles as I had three profiles at one point (on two separate platforms)
So if it is in one profile I know I have it in every profile

Only until you are visited by the zombie below....

Heeeeeeeeeee-Haaaaaaaw!
Oh no !
Not Bungee Zombie !
Is he the one raiding my Almanac ??
Though I left him behind in PvZ
