Close the quest log, come back and a correct time left shoes up. You don’t lose the quest. Hopefully, this bug will be fixed soon.

What I've had happen frequently on iPhone is that I'll finish a quest, the game will crash and when I go back in, the quest hasn't been completed. Its kind of annoying, however, since EA did away with most of the quests and there isn't a whole lot to do in PVZ2 anymore besides Battlez, I just re-do the quest and consider it a feature. If the game didn't crash and reset my progress on a quest, I'd have nothing to do but Battlez - which I'm really not interested in.
