I did uninstall and reinstall and google sync did pull through... kind of. It restored my battlez league, as I said- But set me back to only 4 plants! I had many more plants than that.
You chose the wrong profile
I noticed this and I had to pick the second profile as the first only had 4 plants and no resources
Both had only 4 plants-
The second one had all my resources, but neither kept my plants.
I have contacted EA about this and I'm waiting for a response-
But I'd love to have some other way to restore it if it happens again, so I won't have to go through this long process all over again.Did you select the correct player id when google play synced your account?
If you select the wrong one then it gives you a newly created player id and a new profile which has only 4 plants as it starts from scratch.
I did. I was very careful in making sure I picked the right one.
If you don't want to go through this again then install it through your Google play account so it will automatically sync when you reinstall and make sure you have your player id so if the worst comes to the worst then EA can restore your missing profile in a day or so.
Alright. Thank you for the advice!
Hopefully it won't happen again;;I hope thaT EA can straighten this out for you. Be patient as it may take more than a few days to recover your profile.
I did get a response back and unfortunately nothing further from my profile could be restored. I'm going to have to start over again- Definitely going to save my player ID this time.
I suggest you don't accept that, they must know who you are from when you first signed on and gave them all your personal info, it's just that it takes time and effort on their part to sort your problem out and if you had your player id saved then it would be very easy for them.
If you've spent money on premium plants then you shouldn't have to write it off.
I didn't spend any money, thankfully.
Just a bit disappointed-
I did use a bit of a unique way to get Moonflower and Nightshade.
Went in with whatever plants I had after getting the keys-
Used them and spammed powerups when needed.
Made the rest of ancient Egypt much easier than it otherwise was. Then in that case you're lucky, but if i were you i would abandon pvz2 and stick with pvz1, it's much more fun even if ads have crept in.
Pvz2 may be free to play but it can cost a small fortune if you're not careful and both ads and microtransactions are rife.
if you really enjoy this game then be perssitent and insistent that they restore your profile. It should be possible to pull one from weeks ago even.
Yep!
I got through after an amazingly low 3 e-mails and got all my progress I'd lost back, including my plants!Hurray ! Thank you for letting us know. Good to hear good news about EA Support !!!!
