Very nice strat! Got me my second 1M+. With good timing you can kill every zombie in the "yellow zone" using Plant Food on Bombard-Mint. But even if you manage to do so, doesn't mean you get 1M+. It's so weird...this feels like the best possible strategy for low level plants and should give you a higher score than the 1.3M I got with PPMs. But I wasn't able to break this score even in the one game two yetis showed up. I'm going to give it another try this weekend.
Edit: Do you get a "penalty" if a hypnotized chicken gets killed? Does anyone know?
I watched the Hypno video and you received 150,000 for hypnotizing the Yeti in the far left column !
(I just did the same with Level 1)
I tried PF Hypno on a chicken but the chicken just went poof and no Gargantuar
I did manage three PF Hypnos in play...but score was not an impressive win at all !!
Fun to try it out anyway. Good work PowerToss reaching 1M score.
PPMs seem to the best method and IMHO, I think the devs reward blowing up Zombies !!
When you play someone using @FantastiXxPVZ's strategy and your opponent used the imitated PPM/Tile Turnip strategy:
Level 1 - congratulations and take that devs, bombs alone is not the best solution !

It's possible, every chicken could be a Yeti. A guy on Reddit killed 3 Yetis with Beans. Their score sucked because that's all they killed pretty much, lol.

BTW: In case you did not know that: I figured out why the PPMs strategy can sometimes yield to higher scores watching your new videos @FantastiXxPVZ.
Killing zombies like the Knight Zombie gives you TWO scores when using PPM, Snap Pea etc. (one for "removing" the helm and one for killing the zombie).
However, when you use Bombard-Mint you only get ONE score (for killing the zombie). So you really want to use PPMs or Snap Pea to kill them 🙂
I have no idea why this is coded that way. But that seems to be one reason why my scores vary so much. Thank you for uploading those videos. Keep up the good work! 🙂

This was noticed a while back, that is why on some Battlez, using of the Magnet-shroom to strip the metal parts of the zombies first before killing them gives you better score, I thought they fixed that but it is obviously not as from your finding.

Ah ok. So you have to abuse this mechanics to get high scores. I mean it is pretty obvious in the videos. Killing the knight with Snap Pea/PPM gives 2500 + 35250! Killing it with Bombard-Mint only 2500. This is pretty significant. The same happens right at the beginning with the conehead zombie. Two scores when killed with Snap Pea one score when killed with Bombard-Mint. It looks like killing Zombies with Bombard-Mint is not advantageous in this tournament ☹️
Abusing the two score strategy FIRST try:

Maybe not as advantageous score wise but it does remove the Zombies from the lawn to allow the next wave to appear.
I thought I'd try Magnetshroom but i forgot it was bruised so it will have no effect whatsoever unless you can get it to a high enough mastery level to overcome the bruising, (m80 or m100? Not sure).
The "one score / two scores" thing is also the reason why Witch Hazel works so well and Caulipower does not. With WH you score twice...with CP you don't.
I would really like to know the reason behind it. Is this a bug or is it supposed to be like that?
They both have the same unboosted firing rate but witch hazel fires immediately on planting and caulipower has to wait until it's charged.
My best with Mastery Magnet-shroom was 1.37M
Double scoring does help.
I tried L8 Magnetshroom and didn't pull off a single helmet, i even tried plantfood with no effect, containmint is bruised this week.

At 7:36 a WH kills a Knight Zombie that gives 2500 + 35250 = 37.750 points. And when a Knight gets hypnotized by Caulipower you only get 2500 points.
EDIT: I would test it but I neither have CP nor WH. But I mean you can see the points pop up in the video...
I watched snappy and zoybean videos and i noticed the scoring but i also noticed the use of an L10 enlightenmint, the highest it should be is L5.
Since seasons took over I'm simply not playing enough matches to notice odd things anymore.

Our glorious leader Eieio the barbarian scored over 12m by using Magnetshroom to pull helmets off knights created by zombie kings which gave him an adjusted score of 127m+ on the old leaderboard with level 1plants!
There's a video on utube showing him doing 9m using this tactic.

Haha! I'll see if i can find that video. I just took advantage of this bug...Getting those sweet "double points" of the Knight Zombies using Snap Pea before blowing everything up with Bombard-Mint got me a new Highscore. And it only took one Yeti. But to be honest, I think this has to be fixed!
