Boosterama - Sapfling

Lots of players are reporting lowered ZDL (Zombie Difficulty Level), which means harder to score.

Boosted Moonflower is like a lesser Infini-nut shield, but does the trick. 😊👍

@FantastiXxPVZ   Wow over 2.6M is a great score for level 1 plants. 

I am tied up this weekend so might not have time to do any level 1 playing (yes i have already got 2x level 1 Electrici-Teas for my entry level profiles) 

Your strategy has given me an idea for my F2P plants, instead of imitator to get double Blover, I would use shrinking violet instead, maybe you or @PowerToss  can try it out?

I'm going to give it a try this evening. But I think you really need those chickens to score high. I have no idea if you get the points from the chicken when you use SV (I don't think so). Maybe if you can time shrinking violet correctly it can work.

@PowerToss   I thought points were awarded for shrinking zombies but I could be wrong, have to be honest I have not tried this on chickens and falling imp bots. 

In past Boosted Battlez (now Arena) I only shrink big gargs (and or tough zombies) to make them softer thus easier and quicker to kill and getting the next wave being triggered early.

Yes, you definitely get points for imps and bots but I think that when you shrink a Chicken Wrangler zombie while he is still carrying his chicken, you loose the points for the chickens. At least that would explain why I got low scores when I used SV in practice.

Timing is everything for Level 1 to succeed as most opps will score above 2M (Jade League this week)

Ah now I get what you mean.  So top tips to get good score for Arena (I was going to type Battlez) are :

1) Do not shrink the Chicken Wrangler Zombie and Weasel Hoarder

2) Do not destroy the Cannons

Just tested the strat and it really works well! Got me my second 2.6M. But I could not beat my practice round score yet (2.76M). I can't tell if it's just RNG or something changed...

When I tried the x2 Blovers strat I didn't think of using Moonflowers in a Boosterama. Instead I went for sunshroom. But with the pre-planted MFs you get enough sun to use x2 Blover. Sunshrooms can work as well but it's easy to miss a Blover when you re-plant a Sunshroom...which might end up in a penalty. Definitely going with the MFs strategy when I use x2 Blovers! Thanks! 🙂
