Blockoli boosterama, not a good tournament for my onesies, the best i could do was 2m.
I used the frozen mint trick on ailmint to imp the max number of zombies, then plantfooded shinevine/ sbr to kill the imps and give me more sun.
A nice strategy and a great score.

@MAGICDAVESHROOM I believe you have imitator, you can give double Imp Pear a try as a none F2P strategy, I think you can get a much higher score with frozen Ail-mint. 👿
EDIT: I would take out take out the sun vine and replace it with an imitated imp Pear.
I doubt if that would work, there are plenty of plantfoods floating about and if i get too many zombies on the lawn i can always plantfoot imppear, which is what I've been doing.
I also need shinevine to perform the frozen mint trick.
Pyrevine isn't much use except for stopping plants freezing as it doesn't kill the weasels.

2x Imp Pears -- as the main attacker
Pea Vine -- support attacker and for frozen mint trick
Torchwood.-- to keep Pea Vine from frozen + boosting
Ail-Mint -- to boost main attacker
Plant food to be used on Pea Vine + Torch wood as weasel control when needed.
Dig up imp Pears to prevent them from being frozen!
That is what I would use if I have imitator. 👿
I have been experimenting with other plants and the best i could do was 1.6m using pepperpult.
Unfortunately, it's thawing ability isn't much good at L1.
Wasabi whip wasn't much help, despite being boosted.
I'm going back to pyre vine.
Turkeypult might be worth a shot.

@MAGICDAVESHROOM Since I do not have Imitator, I use the same strategy as I suggested with Appease-mint instead. This gets me 3M average and with good RNGs I think 3.5M is possible.
The trick is to have both mints frozen, a little practice to get the correct timing will be required.
Broken 3.5M. Target achieved.
With a level 2 Imp Pear, it does make a different. The average has improved to 3.3M and with good RNGs, 3.8M is possible.
3.8m+ is an IMPressive score, i am currently playing with my nastery profile and the best that I've managed is 4.7m

EA may have been tinkering with Witch Hazel, normally if i plantfood her at level 1 i get a fumeshroom instead of a puffshroom, today i got toadstools, which normally only happens when witch hazel is at a level 7 and above.
Just tried this and I do not get a Toadstool, maybe yours have been boosted from the zen garden?
I haven't been in my Zen garden for years, witch hazel is available for boost there but should boost on planting if that was the case.
It might be a glitch but i doubt it's to do with the zen garden as unboosted witch hazels still produce normal L1 puffshrooms.
I did notice that toadstools did not produce any sun as they normally do after EAting zombies, but as this is a conveyor belt level it doesn't matter.
Bit of a mystery.
Having a closer look on your setup, I guess you feed plant food to the tiled Witch Hazels, if this is the case then getting Toadstool from them would be normal.
If you not applying plant food, I think your level 1 WH will be giving you Fume-shooms.
I applied plantfood to both tiled and single witch hazels and got toadstools every time.
L1 witch hazels still zapped zombies into puffshrooms as they should.
You can see a puffshroom wearing his horn costume surrounded by toadstools.
Witch Hazel is still producing Toadstools when plantfooded in my level 1 profile.

I think to get a comfortable 7-win streak, we will need to be 2M+ on this tournament, sadly the best I could get so far is still way below, guess I will be focusing on other profiles for now.
Scaredyshroom boosterama.
My poor onesies can manage over 3m, planting a boosted scaredyshroom in the middle of a block of 8 will blow back and destroy a hamsterball.
3.7m is my best so far, but it is a bit frantic.
After several 4.99m attempts, my onesies managed to join the 5m club.

II have had a quick practice before and was only getting around 3M and I do not belive this was good enough for a 7 streak so might sit this out till next week.
Week 298 boosterama
I tried@MAGICDAVESHROOM's strategy for 2 rounds with a single Imp Pear + a power mint but could not even break 4M. I go back to Appease-mint plants and after some fine tuning, the average is around 3.7M with highest being 4.3M. Think I am settle with this for now.
Scaredyshroom was quite impressive as a onesie, particularly when boosted and was extremely effective against hamsterballs.
It did take me a while to refine it, and i only needed 150 crowns to get enough seeds to get 240 seeds so Nightcap only cost 10x gems.

Week 299 Zomboss Tournament.
Now that the Thyme event has ended, my focus is back to the Arena. This is an EAsy strategy for my L1 profile.👿
In real tournament play I found that the sun vines on column 4 I use to hold the bug bot sometimes got eaten resulting score penalty, by replacing them with Solar Sage gives a slight score boost and my level 1 plants managed to break 22M.
