I have the feeling that if I hit the Zomboss too hard quickly (like using mints and/or plant food early into the game), it could trigger Zomboss' flame.

With Tile-turnip+Wasabi strat, it doesn't seem to be a problem since their PFEs quickly stop the Zomboss before it flames you, or gives immunity to the Wasabis (not sure, I guess). But with a single quick PFE shot, like Citron's, it's likely a miss when the Zomboss is ready to flame you.

I'm thinking about carefully gradually reducing the Zomboss' health, so as not to hit him hard in a quick manner, if it really is the trigger. But I'm not sure if that's the case at all.

i don't think there is anything controls the wildfire. they are completely random... the wasabi whip strategy is not completely invulnerable at all.

    Yup, I mean the ones where Zomboss drops those sacks. I wonder if they're completely random, or somehow programmed to have something to do with how we attacked the Zomboss.

    In my case, sometimes the whole game Zomboss didn't drop any sacks, other times (which I suspect related to how I attacked him) he dropped sacks very early in the game, sometimes very late. Kind of rarely mid-game now that I think about it.

    @ForestOutlook Mines depend on games too~ in a good game, where i manage to stun it long enough with the help of mints, it will only drop them at the end of the game. Sometimes i randomly decide to wait for my mints to charge, which is always a mistake because it then starts flaming everything....

    I find it strange since my strat is the type that can't keep making the Zomboss stunned. Yet in one game, he didn't drop any sacks even though I let him roam free. In other game, he dropped the sacks early, after I used filamint on him. I seem to have a higher chance of not getting flamed when I don't use filamint too early. And I've also tried not using filamint or other attacking mints at all, and not getting flamed. I don't know if it's just a coincidence.

    This flaming and sack dropping can be rage inducing sometimes. Especially when he target more than two lanes in quick succession. He used to be less aggressive in the first few days 😑

    @ForestOutlook You aren't the only one.... -.- he flamed 4 of my lanes in one game....i contemplate rage quitting but it was 2nd game in a streak and the opponent have less than 1/3 of my score so i let it go....this is the worst zomboss fight ever since i started playing arena from last year x(

    Oh my, I've had the exact same scenario. It happened early so I had the chance to replant everything, but doing so ever so lazily, kind of killed my enthusiasm to continue the game, lol. Luckily my opponent at the time was also a slow scorer.

    I've played close to 140 games and 4 or 5 times, my Power Tile has frozen. It usually happens towards the end of a game after I've played a Spear Mint. The board will be covered with zombies with several if them being pulled toward the spike that grew on the tile. If I don't remove the spike soon enough, the tile freezes over. I'll have to spend the rest of the game hoping my Darts hold out.

    @ForestOutlook At that point, i usually only replant my shine vine because my sun production gets really affected. But yes, you are right, it kills the enthusiasm for the game... I hate this zomboss so much...

    I think zomboss gets more aggressive the closer to league finishing.... he just burned all my lanes x( you bad flying ship....
