@HypnoDjurre Looks like a nice strat. I always had trouble running out of Plant Food when I don't use BB. I'll give this strategy a try but I'll wait until they fixed the 'not-halved recharge time'. Faster recharge time on TT will do wonders.

I think I know how to do it

It's something I had noticed during previous Boss battles, but never was quite sure of

You can/need to "double-strike" the Zomboss

I'm trying to capture a good sequence on video

I'll try to explain

The normal situation:

You empty the healthbar, Zomboss floats and lands, then you get the points for defeating him, then the healthbar resets and Zomboss is "stunned" doing his animation

If you can get his healthbar low but not empty when het starts floating, and you time your PF right

Then you empty the current healthbar, he lands and immediately resets the healthbar but your PF is still damaging him so that the next healthbar also empties before he starts floating again

That way you can sneak in a couple of extra Zomboss defeats

I have not yet manage to break 18M even with my high level plants so will most certainly try out your tips this weekend.

I've also adjusted my theory a bit

In this Zomboss tourney, the "double-strike" saves you PF so you don't run out in the middle of the game

In that sense you can get more Zomboss kills

I should be able to go higher coz sometimes I mistime my PF so there's a brief moment Zomboss can escape

From what I've seen that sounds about right

I entered the new tourney from a long streak

Did a couple of streaks and the score seems to get stuck around 3.5 to 4.5m

Only once I saw an opponent with 8.5m

LOL...but then I'm going to be the only one posting here!

After my post EA decided to immediately punish me, so I got the opportunity to experience the winstreak from scratch

1: ??, 350k, 650k, 850k, 1.2m, 1.4m and 1.7m

2: 2.1m, 3m, 3.7m, 4.8m and then it went back to 4.5m

That's my highest score so far. Don't think 10M is possible with level 5 plants. Only hit 9M+ twice.

Watching and rewatching both your video and TheMaruMari, I'm still scratching my head about those scores

I cannot replicate those (with PPS)

You use all PF at the start, TMM at the end

But I really can't get those scores (9.2m with lvl5 and 12.1m with lvl7-ish

@HypnoDjurre A video for science? It's probably just RNG. My score rages from 6.5M to 9.2M. 

I think a level 7 BB works better than PPS because PPS can stun the Zombies, preventing them from stepping on your CGs. I have to use PPS to deal with the Lost Pilots and the Portals. I might also try Bowling Bulb once my Puffball is higher level. Maybe this will allow me to deal with the Lost Pilots.

I have also seen players use PPS and BB instead of Stallia.

But I doubt if it's just RNG, coz my plant levels are slightly higher than TMM, but my score doesn't get higher than 8.5m and mostly lower

I've gotten (with BB) 11m twice and some 10m (about 5 times)

@HypnoDjurre Sure. I'll watch your video and see if I can find anything. IIRC, TMM has a level 8 Blover so it's a little bit easier. You should have continuous blowing with a level 7 Blover since the recharge time is 2sec and a Blover blows for 2sec. However, you can't miss a single Blover. A level 8 Blover has 1.5sec recharge so you have a little more room for 'failure'.

@HypnoDjurre Haha, there we go 🙂 Lots of Gargs, lots of points. Looks good to me. You go the ZDL up to 4,000 points. This is what you need. Just make sure you time the first 3 to 4 Blovers correctly (you already mistimed the second =P). 

So it looks like a level 7 Blover isn't quite enough to get continuous blowing.
