Hi Powertoss, isn't that the seeds used to unlock can be used to upgrade? Because if I remember correctly, when we unlock a plant, we can immediately upgrade the plant level to level 3 or so?so the unlock does not need "real" seed, it is just kind of requirement?

Hi @motfis No, unfortunately seeds to unlock the plant can't be used to level up the plant. I think it only happened during Zoybean Season and this was a bug / not intended.

It's just that older Season Plants were unlockable with 100 seed packets (at 150 crowns). So as soon as you reached 300 crowns you could directly upgrade the plant to level 3. After reaching 1,000 crowns you had a level 5 plant with zero seed packets "left".

The new Season Plants require 250 seeds to unlock. This means the plant will be at level 4 (150/300) if you just play Arena. You can earn 50 seed by completing the Quest but you will still be 100 seeds short to level 5 after reaching 1,000 crowns. You can earn seeds in Pinata Parties and buy them for gems in the store. I always make sure that I collect at least 100 seeds packets during the first week so that my plant is level 5 once I reached 1,000 crowns.

This needs to be added to the Hints and Tips. 

(it would help me and other absent-minded players like me, to remember to get the new plants to level 5 before time runs out 👿 )
