According to the wiki if you plantfood solar sage he will enlighten all the zombies in a 3x3 area.
I have noticed if I drop one Solar Sage on a number of zombies on the same square they all got enlightened but if I just place one on the lawn, then only one zombie is converted.
It also better to use it near to the house as there will be a longer path for the enlightened zombies to drop suns.
EDIT
Thanks for the information @MAGICDAVESHROOM
- @MAGICDAVESHROOM Hmmm...I think none of my zombies were in that 3x3 area at the time of my plant food xDD
There are a couple of new plants in the almanac.
- @MAGICDAVESHROOM I really like power vine...he looks so smug xDDD
Filamint family needs a vine.
- @MAGICDAVESHROOM All the mint family needs a vine now~~ since EA has started on this mission, they can't stop now until each family has their own ๐ i am looking forward to the spearmint family vine~~ it will be amazing to have pokra sit on a little vine ๐

I watched a Real Gamer vid on Solar Sage. Don't think the bugs are worked out yet. He had one enlightened? zombie exit the board at C9 as usual, but then the danged thing reentered the arena from the house and continued on his merry way towards C9 again. Don't think he was still dropping sun, tho.
Oh my god...i love power vine!!! He just looks so smug and i love it~~~
- linuxPigPen4 years agoSeasoned Ace@MAGICDAVESHROOM Man, that dude is way more Tesla than Edison. He goin' to be BAAAAAAD.
Noctarine is making me tired from all that clicking and dropping.... xDD
I have just tried the first level of the quest, I used it on the zombies and thought hmmm, it produces gas and poisons zombies like a high level stunion but without the stun and costs quite a lots of suns. Then I discovered the gas can power up shadow plants and acts like a temporally moonflower/gloomvine. An interesting plant for enabling shadow plants to be used when sun producing moonflower was banned but other than that it is just another average plant to add to my collection.
A little disappointed.

- @eieio_31310 There is an extensive table on fandom wiki....but i have yet to figure out which one is the actual damage if we just used it on zombies.....
While Jack o'lantern isn't a new plant it seems to have been changed recently so it attacks zombies on it's own and is no longer a tap to attack plant.
It's in today's pinata party.
This makes it a much better plant in my view as I don't like micro managing plants.
It's not usually a plant I use often.

Yes, I too have discovered this earlier today. It does make it a more viable plant to use, both in Adventure and maybe Arena.... possibly with pumpkin as an outer coat to provide some protection. hmm now I am wondering what this combination looks like. ๐ค
@MAGICDAVESHROOM and or any active members with JOL and Pumpkin, could you post an image here please? Thanks in Advance.
- HenryThePear4 years agoLegend@eieio_31310 Do you mean a JOL inside a Pumpkin?
@HenryThePear Yes.
Jack o'lantern in his vampire costume and inside vines and pumpkins.
Thanks @MAGICDAVESHROOM It does look a little strange when Pumpkin is enhanced by plant food.
Oh my god.....I really like the health seeker โค๏ธโค๏ธ
