I know when a game freezes it can be a huge letdown, especially if you had great streaks going!

Have you tried the steps in this article I linked below or tried reinstalling the app to see if that helped boost performance? I'm not sure if you're playing the game with apps running in the background, but it's always advised to have all other apps closed down before playing a game to avoid stress on the device.
