Re: Purchase Problem

When you had your purchase problem and contacted the EA Help Desk, how long did it take to get the issue resolved and get your purchase(s)? Was the process slowed at any time because they needed more information in between? I'm still in the process of waiting. Thanks!

Assuming you reported it as a missing content complaint (which is correct), they normally get back to you within 2 days,

However, recently there have been a lot more missing content cases than usual because of a bug that should have been fixed in the last update but wasn't.

If you combine that with the fact that we think EA HELP is an Indian call center operation and India has been badly hit by the pandemic lately many players have been reporting not receiving purchases and not being contacted by EA HELP, as you can see if you read some of the other threads.

All i can say is you'll probably get whatever you complained about eventually but try to be patient and just be glad all you have to worry about is a computer game.

Thank you for the time you took to answer my question. It wasn't exactly what I had asked or was looking for, but I think it is kind you would consider the EA workers in India for all they are going through since Covid hit their country, and ask patience for them.

But I don't think the issue lacks it's own seriousness despite world events at large, especially since EA is a business for profit headquartered in Redwood, California in America, and I live in America and made my purchase here. We have commerce laws that an item can't be billed if it's not been shipped or delivered. They took my money, but did not ensure the delivery of the goods. It's been days now of playing email tag with 3 different employees at EA Help to get my purchase. I have been given no clear assurance that I will have it or have a refund of my money within so many days. I don't understand why I should be admonished to take being cheated of my money or my trust patiently as if it's not a crime regardless of what other issues may be going on in the world at the same time. It's EA's responsibility to make sure their business can deliver the goods they sale when they take the money in for it, not the rest of the world.

If you want to get a refund that's up to you, EA is a massive corporation with different operations all over the world and i only suggested why i think this has happened to yourself and others.

EA should really issue a statement about this instead of burying their heads in the sand and hoping it will go away.

I've had two open cases with EA since mid-May for two Pea Vine bundles that I've never received.  I can't get a resolution (I just want the bundles) and I no longer get a response to my inquiries as to the status of my cases.  I'm now trying to reach them through Twitter.  You are also supposed to tag them in posts here, but nothing happens.

That's terrible. I can understand wanting the electric pea for the game; I have it and it is neat to use. I wish you success getting what you paid for via Twitter. I had luck getting another company's attention better via their Twitter account rather than telling their staff in the store before about the problem.

But what about asking for you money back instead?

Yes, it would be better if they address the problem head on to keep the good customers they have and to salvage what continued relationships they can with the ones they've run afoul on.
