I'm still logging in using Google play without any problems.
The Error Message could be that you already registered your account by signing up for this Forum...
(the error message is just not an accurate explanation for the 'failure')

You will then be asked to confirm your choice.
Make sure that you have chosen the correct account as you may delete the other one permanently.
- Anonymous7 years agoThat's.. not helpful. I still log in to Google Play flawlessly. What I'm asking is the newly-added email registration system that was just introduced. I cannot use my email for it. That is my question.
I haven't used the new EA registration system, last time it was a big disaster.
I suggest you ask EA HELP CENTER for an answer.
Contact the Help Center. We can just theorize why it failed.
Turned out I was already registered when I tried last time. I will not use that button until I know it is "safe" and I understand why I should use it.
Strange but worthy of noting... I was able to add a second player to my Google Play account.
