No way to upgrade mints

Hate to say it but its by design. Right now you can purchase seeds from nearly any plant for money in the plants window by clicking on them and the options. Think its turned off to boost sales. They might alternate every 30 days. I have 4k of them with no way to spend either

I get that, but for each plant there are usually several upgrade options: paying real money, of course, but also by using gems, coins, watching an ad or even playing one of the levels where the plant is introduced. With the power mints, the only option to upgrade now is by paying real money. If that is indeed the case, then it defeats the whole purpose of the leaderboard of the Arena tournaments, since the top 8 or so places are rewarded with mints! What’s the point of trying to make it into the top three positions of the leaderboard if all you are going to get is a lot of extra mints that you can’t use for anything? Just to move up in the league table so you can then earn more useless mints? Right now it makes more sense to remain on a lower ranking on the table so you just win gems or coins which you can use actually use to upgrade plants.

Surely this is a bug on EA’s part, no? Or are they planning on getting rid of power mints and/or mints as an upgrade option altogether? I don’t get it.

Its back for 30 days. Its in the store. They only let you do 1 mint, this time around its enchantmint to match the brain stem.

Thanks for the heads up! It’s really odd to me. It doesn’t motivate one to play Arena matches, if all we’re doing is accumulating tons of mints that we can only use now and again on a single power mint upgrade 🤷‍♂️

It’s happening again-there is no way to upgrade the mints. It’s really annoying that they make us play for mints but there is no way to spend them on upgrades. 

yes, I've got thousands of mints and can't do anything with them. I wish they'd have a feature where you could cash them in for gems or coins. Just something to incentivize things a bit. I know they're in it to make money, but they shouldn't sacrifice player satisfaction in the process. 

I have over 6k mints but every month when am ready for a new mint to upgrade, none show up. They tend to do the same ones but now the enchantment is up but it is not there for me to spend mints on even to go fro 8 to 10. Been months since I was able to upgrade. They should just offer them in the store. What is the point of winning the mints when you can’t use them.

Enchantment is supposed to be in the store this month but nothing is for some of us who have thousands of mints.

Was a bummer when I used to have to wait a month for one mint that might be already upgraded. Now with 6k mints and counting don’t even get that chance. My enchantment is 8 and I could make it 10 but no mint is in the store. This has been going on for months. Last mint was enlightenment that showed for me after months of no mints before that. It has gotten ridiculous. Just playing for the new plants.
