It's a known bug on iOS 14. Here is the workaround until it gets hopefully fixed:
Before you attempt to enter the store, switch your device to flight mode before doing so to avoid triggering the inescapable restore purchases loop. Once you're in that loop you can't terminate it besides force closing your game - it's an Apple process which ping's Apple's purchase servers.
Once you're successfully loaded into the store you can turn off flight mode.

It’s spreading to Pennys Pursuit...
Clicking the gem and gauntlet ads...screen goes Black...must delete the App...visit the Apple store...download the PvZ2 app...then there’s an identity conflict...two ids appear..2 .marigold spin and spin...over and over. This game is getting impossible to play..100’s of dollars spent. I’m deleting the PvZ2 App several times daily because the game keeps locking...blue screen to black screen.

Please provide documentation that this never ending restoring purchases snafu is the result of a 14 IOS BUG.
@LogicWings Don't worry about it. It's just a bug that will hopefully be fixed in the new update.
For the time being I would play Penny's Pursuit offline. You can enter Penny's Pursuit and then turn off your internet connection and play it. This way you won't get the "Restoring Purchases" pop-up after playing a level.
Deleted PvZ 2 app twice...today. Now...it’s going to be a 3rd time...screenshot after entering Arena.

Plant was never updated...after purchase 100 seeds.

This morning...after starting opening the game...this appeared...clicking ok...the blue screen appeared.

Same. I made a purchase on May 14 and contacted EA Help. As of today, I still do not have the plant I purchased (Android) and they claim they're "researching" the issue. Foolishly, I purchased another plant which I also didn't get. So far, I'm out 39.99 with zero resolution. I get the restoring purchases, but it doesn't do anything. If I go into the store, it tries to restore both purchases, but I always get "0 purchases restored successfully." I have contacted EA Help so many times and at this point, they don't even respond. I've sent them documentation of the purchase numerous times. They are completely useless.
same has happened to me. they will not accept my proof of purchases sent deom tablet , have given up on using real cash to,purchase anything.
