[UPDATE] Electric Blueberry not unlocking after 500 Arena crowns

Hi, I thought that this arena tournament is to unlock electric blueberry. I already play the arena until I should get electric blueberry but when I checked, the electric blueberry is still unlocked. On the last season I got the sakura unlocked and there’s nothing wrong with it. Is this bug or the arena is having some other terms and conditions to unlock the plant?

The following information was obtained by contacting EA Customer Service:

To clarify, reaching 500 stats in the Super Z League does not unlock the Electric Blueberry plant itself if it hasn’t already been purchased. The reward shown at that milestone provides Electric Blueberry seed packets, which are only usable if you already own the plant.

Therefore, the Electric Blueberry is a paid in-app purchase and cannot be obtained through 500 Arena Miles.

This was a poor decision on the developers' part. I was convinced that this was a way to acquire a new plant and add some variety to the gameplay. If the rewards display the plant itself — rather than a specific quantity of its seeds — then that's exactly what players should receive. Especially considering that it's far from being an overpowered plant and giving it away wouldn't cost the developers a thing. It’s a disappointing and lackluster Arena season. In well-supported games, players would receive compensation — but surely not in PvZ2.

What happened to electric blueberry, i thought it was a part of the new season rewards in the arena and when u reach 500 crowns u r gonna unlock it. Why after the last update now it shows that you cant even buy it anymore

I am writing because I have reached over 500 crowns in the current Arena season, but I have not received the Electric Blueberry rewards.

According to the attached screenshot, I should have already met the requirements to unlock the Lightning Blueberry. However, I cannot find it anywhere.

Unfortunately, when I checked my plant collection, the Lightning Blueberry does not appear to be there.

Hello,I am writing to express my frustration regarding the Arena rewards in Plants vs. Zombies 2. After reaching the 500-point milestone in the 'Torneio de Campeões', the progress bar clearly shows the Electric Blueberry plant as a reward.However, after reaching the goal, the plant was not unlocked. I later found out that, unlike other 'Seedium' plants, this one remains locked behind a paywall, and I only received seeds for a plant I cannot use. The visual representation in the game is extremely misleading to the player, as it suggests the plant itself is the prize for the effort put into the tournament.I feel misled by the game's interface and would like to request the permanent unlock of the plant or a fair compensation in gems for the time invested in this tournament.Best regards.

I have the same problem, but since there are more people with this problem, there is a chance that they will do something about it

Hello, I am having issues with the king shot ads not allowing you to exit causing me to have to reset the entire plants vs zombies 2 app. This costed me my daily reward today.

the second issue is that I collected enough points to receive electric blueberry in the most recent tournament  but it did not unlock. It just gave me a bunch of seed packets. My understanding is that you would receive electric blueberry when you reached the appropriate score. Thank you for your help
