I do not think the blueberry is that effective at low level but you can use it as gap filler while waiting for the caulipower to refresh.

& no I do not have time left to play any other games....

Re your earlier comment to @SuzuGaminVn about the Electric Blueberry not being very effective at low levels.

I have just got the Electric Blueberry up to level 10, (My very first max level plant!), but I still don't use it in Battlez.

Even at level 10 it's still pretty much ineffective in the Battlez arena.

This is for two reasons. Firstly it's firing rate remains painfully slow. Secondly, if it gets ready to fire and its intended target is either killed or captured it doesn't select a different target but goes back to sleep. If it would switch targets under those circumstances and give me a kill each time it would become a much better plant, but it doesn't and that puts me off wasting a square on one when another more effective plant could be used.

@Humplemann   Thank you for the information.  I think the newly available Reinforce-mint is a better one to use in the battlez.

This week Battlez game is kinda different as the one of the previous ones, somehow it's a good and bad thing in the same time !
I don't really get why Gold Bloom are available this week, while other sun producing plants are not. Battlez mode is not fair initially but EA could have blocked Gold Bloom for this week at least...

Anyways, I guess Sun Bean are good addition with Solar Tomatoes Tomato to get lot of suns quickly.
I'm using Sun Bean, Primal Peashooter & Potatoe mine, Cherry Bomb, and Shrinking Violet. So far 3 wins, and 1 loss against a player with 2 Gold Bloom (one Imitater) lvl 4...I guess it's not that bad.
What are your strategies for this week, with or without premium plants guys ?

Also, I see that some players are using Blover in Battlez even if there is no airborne threats, why ?

  • @BBnot8   Blover is a plant I typically use every week as it has many uses. This week their are pirate captain zombies (with flying parrot), rodeo legend zombie (with flying airborne imp), jetpack zombie, breakdancer zombie ( he kicks other zombies airborne), and deep sea gargantuar (he throws imp) so blover can counter all the airborne attacks, plus if paired with other plants such as a level 4+ stallia, chard guard, or primal peashooter it can knock all zombies back and away.

My strategy I have scored 1,600,000 with so far is solar tomato, blover, stallia, primal peashooter, primal potato mine, and gold bloom. I seem to lose if my opponent uses calipower + imitator calipower so I need to come up with a better arrangement.

@Belldandy333 Thanks for the tips dude !!!
I did not know that Blover could remove zombies that were not flying/parrots or could be used as a combo with chard guard, interesting ! I'm gonna do some trials tomorrow in Adventure mode to see how good it can be. !
Not sure to understand how it is supposed to work with Stallia, is it only with lvl 5+ stallia ?

  • @BBnot8   Stallia gains the ability to knock zombies backwards at level 5, so its a huge perk to using in combination with blover. Definitely practice with the timing of the pair, especially on endless maps where you can fight against large mobs at the same time. This weeks battlez is easier to use this combo without worrying about your stallia getting crushed by barrel rollers or burned by torchlight zombies, especially against the tricky gargantuars and rodeo legend zombies. Basically you click on your blover immediately after placing your stallia, or wait until zombies walk into the chard guard and get knocked back. While they are air borne, blover will make them fly away ツ
