Here's a few of my best scores so far for this week, complete with the initial plants layout shown at the end :-
Starting plant layout
This week has not been all about having high-powered killing plants. (In fact, lower level plants can even be an advantage if they are used effectively and removed once/IF Kings appear.) It's been more about using the Infi-Nuts combined with the Reinforce-Mint (While using the plant food to keep the Reinforce-Mint in constant readiness) to protect your Magnet-Shrooms as well as ensuring that the Kings and nearby Peasants survive so the Peasants can be Knighted and the Magnet-Shrooms can score for you by removing their helmets.
The rapidly escalating scores for removing the helmets from the same Peasant/Knight can become astronomical.
I've even had one helmet being worth over a million points!! That was when I had just one Peasant surviving and it was being Knighted over and over again by two Kings. (A dream scenario that, sadly, doesn't happen very often.)
