When stacking infini-nuts on the same column, does it do much for you? From my results by observation, there is no difference between a stack, or just one. The wall falls down just as fast. It doesn't make sense but that's how it seems to behave.

The reason I created the pattern was because I was thinking that each individual Infi-Nut gets its own Reinforce-Mint boost. Therefore, if the field from one is broken down, the others in the same column can still be intact and spanning the arena. The thing that makes observation to prove or disprove this way of thinking is that it's so difficult when all the Infi-Nuts in the column are under attack. I've yet to have a situation in this tournament where there's been only one Zombie attempting to break through the force-field for long enough to make it through. Because of that, I can't really say one way or the other.

Something else I've just thought of. If there's just the one Infi-Nut and its field is broken down, AND the plant itself get fully eaten, when the Reinforce-Mint is deployed there's nothing left of that Infi-Nut to be revived/boosted. If there is more than one in the column, even if one of the plants does get fully eaten, there is still others remaining that CAN be revived/Boosted.

S.ucks that I have reinforcemint lvl 1 only, now I have lot of mints but I can't use them (i still have not buy the last mint) btw, I could have had really nice streaks this week :/

I've just tried out the Single vs Multiple Infi-Nuts on Modern World map 37.
The field protecting a single boosted Infi-Nut lasted 35 seconds against the combined efforts of the first 3 Zombies.
With two boosted Infi-Nuts, the field lasted 37 seconds.
With five boosted Infi-Nuts, the field lasted 40 seconds.
Basically, there is a benefit with multiple Infi-Nuts, but it's only maginal.
However, with multiple plants in the same column you have the possibility for still having A surviving plant left to boost, rather than losing all the protection if you lose the single plant.
So basically, it's a sucker-move to stack, as I've noticed from my observations.
Instead of wasting the resources on extra (almost redundant) nuts, you could have invested in an attack plant, which not only gets you more kills and points, but ALSO kills the guys attacking your wall, making your wall actually last LONGER than STACKING. 🙂
There is the irony in this, your wall is actually stronger when you DON'T STACK. And I consider this a BUG, even though EA will no doubt say they did it for some sort of balancing act.
EA may have changed the way infinite nut boost works since there is reinforce-mint.
Before it would have cost 5 plant foods to get 5 infinite nuts boosted on one column, so not easy and quick. Maybe the sum of all boosted infinite nuts was higher (maybe it was multiplied by the number of nuts boosted on on column ?)
But with reinforcemint, it would have been too powerful to keep it that way.I guess we will never know 🤔

My strategy is not about attack - it's based around a defence that's about conserving Kings and certain Peasants. This is so the Kings will repeatedly Knight the Peasants and I get most of my points from the Magnet Shrooms removing their helmets, because each successive removal from the same Peasant/Knight gives an ever escalating score.
I do retain an element of attack with my Snow peas, which are level 10. They inflict good damage and refresh quickly. If I don't get a King come out within the first 90 seconds their refresh rate means I can quickly add more to get points from kills and usually sneak a win.
If a single King comes out (Or hopefully multiple Kings) I dig up the Snow Peas from the relevant row/rows so the Zombies in the row/rows remain healthy. That is why I have the Power Lily imitated, because it allows me to repeatedly deploy the Reinforce-Mint and maintain the front row of Infi-Nuts that are protecting my Magnet-Shrooms.
Having the multple nuts helps with my earlier point of increasing the chances of retaining at least one Infi-Nut for when I deploy the Reinforce-Mint.
I suppose I could reduce the number of nuts at the back of the arena to have more sun for if I do need to call in more Snow Peas, but I'll still stick with multiples at the front.
- I use infi-nut a lot and i know from experience that having more than i infi-nut per column is wasting a tile and sun. They may all generate the force field but zombie attacks eat through it at the same rate as one. It's only worth using more than one on the column that takes the brunt of the zombie attack as when the force field is gone the zombies have to start on the infinut and either a plantfood or reinforcemint will boost the nut and regenerate the force field. If you put one infi-nut in most columns and use reinforcemint you have a very strong defence that takes up 2 slots. Having said all that the EAvil EAlves seem to have been tinkering with plant and zombie behavior lately so who knows? I could plantfood a primal mine and 2 primed primal mines used to land on the railtrucks or corners now they could go anywhere.
- For the first few days they usually went where i wanted them to go - far to the right and obviously doing a lot of damage. Now they shoot off in random directions, usually behind me so I'm using explode-o-nut instead. I don't know if it's just me but a few plants have started behaving oddly about halfway through the tournament.
The 6.9.1 update had given me many issues so I was playing the 'updating PVZ2 game' instead of battlez last weekend.
Congratulations to all who made it to the highest score ever achieved this week, especially @Humplemann, at over 33M, this is hard to beat even with high level plants.
I am still trying to get 10M with my level 1 plants....

1m30 instead of the regular 3 minutes.
Plant of the week = contain-mint (So even if players have upgraded it, they could really use it only one time per game ! 🥳 🥳 )
Setup: 1750 starting sun, lot of potions on the board, sun producing plants are allowed.Blover is banned, but I guess we won't see Blover+chard combo anymore very often in Battlez.
Nothing to show which are the boosted plants, which one are nerfed, which one are totally useless with the Buffez and Bruisez...🥳
Main zombies: poncho zombies and jester zombies.

Buffed family this week: Contain-mint family

Nerfed plant: magnet-shroom, yes even if it belongs to contain-mint family, what a surprise..! 🥳My take on this past week's tournament.
The zombies came out very random this week sometimes no Kings appeared and no helmet zombies other times you get 2 or 3 kings and in some cases even 5 kings. Playing defense mode got you great score for up to 7 mil but if no kings or helmet zombies came out then I would only score 40-80K.
Playing offense I would score 700K - 3 mil which is actually more stable for getting a better streak . Currently leading the gold league buy 100 crowns I will keep a eye on the guy in second place the number 3 is down 300 crowns. For the guys that scored over 10 and 20 mil good going.
@badbee34 A valid point, a win with low score is still being counted as a win and a lost with a high score is still being counted as a lost.
Do you mind share with us your plant selection and setup for a more stable strategy please?

No problem my plants are not high level but I try do the best with them. Here is my offense setup I still use the infinite nut and magnet shroom because it can get a extra few points and help protect my plants.

For next tournament for thoses who have been on Jade League when it happened before, do the top 3 players usually have more crowns when the Battlez game last 1m30 instead of 3min or is it kinda always the same amount of crowns ?Hum yes that what I'm afraid of.
I like to have 200 or more points than the 2nd so I know that even if he tries to take my 1st place at the end of the tournament, I would have things totally under control.
But with shorter games, than could be trickier..
Well I'll see how it goes.So... I also have been burned the last 4 or so tournaments by the flurry of people setting their alarm clocks in order to do a last 2-3 hour gauntlet race to the finish and hoping to sneak-by. A couple tournaments ago, I even was just observing the list to watch them trying to knock each other out near the end.
In any case, THIS TIME I made sure to leave enough of a lead so that I could comfortably go to sleep, and DISCOURAGE any competitor from even attempting to pull that stunt again. Seems it worked, (ahah)!

That’s me yesterday. I raced with the 1st one and scored ~ 200 crowns in the last 2 hrs and still finished in 2nd place. I lead almost all the week, but in the afternoon I was busy to check my scores, two other players passed me and I could only claime back the 2nd place. So watch out your rank carefully in the last day in Jade League.
Hands down this week's Battlez experience is the worst one yet.
I've been playing for about 2 hours now and really don't care much for it.
Half the field is filled with the size increasing formula...and then it takes almost 30 seconds for anything to really happen.
That just leaves about a minute of competition, and if you fall behind, there's little chance to catch up if you fall way behind.
