Narrow win against this account makes me laugh.
It is an odd choice of plants. Congratulations on the victory !
Best i could manage this week was 4.99m, until now and I've finally broken 5m.
VICTORY TO MEEEEE!!!!!!🇬🇧
EDIT: I just broke 6m!
awesome
Wow, this is the best score I have seen without Blover over M80. Congrats.
Be careful, his head will blow up and then his tin hat will not fit :-)
Top score for the week MagicDave - kudos !!
- Which is best family in your opinion? I think its shadow. They are just so versatile and can take on anything, plus they're cheap 🙂
We shall see how well Shadow family fares this week. I agree that it is powerful.
As my observation and tested, the highest scores come combine of Chard Guard and Blover.
Hello, everyone! 🙂
I've managed to get into Jade League but I don't really enjoy playing the shadow plants. Was much happier in Silver & Bronze, so will let myself drop - but pleased I got to Jade with my low-level plants.
A bit like Max Verstappen in a Force India car! 😉
I hated Battlez when I first started playing but now I'm addicted. Part of what I love is the learning, which I wouldn't get by winning all the time, and improving my skills, & plants (I'm a learning gardener in 'real time' too).Thank you for a wonderful, wonderful game, best wishes to all,
🍸

- This is the worst battlez week for me. Only 400k score ☹️
- I have all mints ranked in my opinion (except for enlighten mint):
13: contain mint
12: reinforce mint
11. pepper mint
10. winter mint
9. enforce mint
8. appease mint
7. ail mint
6. arma mint
5. fila mint
4. enchant mint
3. conceal mint
2. spear mint
1. bombard mint
what do you guys think? I think spearmint should go at number 1 and reinforcemint at number 3.
I see your point in a way, though reinforce mint does not affect zombies too well, and bombard mint does take out zombies the quickest, and is very useful in competitive play. Would you mind sending me a screenshot of your setup? Can't come up with good strats for this week's battlez :l
Chard Guard in C9, C3 (just to protect against forgetting to get down Blover in time)
MoonFlowers C1 and C2
Wondering if EA removed bot engine this week for keeping winning streak, up to now I played 55 battles but still did not meet any bot yet.
If this were true I hope they keep it this way for the new arrangement. I will be starting my Battlez again this weekend to get some mints....👿
Swiping Blover ad nauseum is quite boring !!!! I have to remember to pay attention to the zombie wave to not miss a telephone Giga's arrival !
Is it just me (?) or do the Gigas sometimes not get blown away by Blover/Chard Guard ?
My highest score

Amazing. 3.2M

I'm finding this as well.
It seems as if some Gargs stay just off the arena, but they're still close enough to use their telegraph pole to beat the crap out of the Chard Guard in front of them. Even planting a fresh CG seems to not affect them because all they do is smash the new plant.
I've found the only way to (Hopefully) get rid of the awkward Gargs is to place a new CG and immediately use Reinforce-mint to get the CG plant food effect to beat up the Garg before it gets the chance to inflict any more damage and / or use their laser. Of course you need to do this pretty quickly, otherwise you'll lose a few plants from C1 to C3 if you have anything planted there.
I've now started leaving those three columns empty and populating the rest of the lawn with CGs. Then it's Blover ad nauseam for two minutes.
I've found that ignoring the locked in plants entirely can improve my scores. I guess it's because the Shadow Peashooter and Conceal-mint tends to slow down the zombies, so there aren't as many getting into the range of the CGs.
I've got used to ignoring the plant of the week on many occasions, but I never thought I'd end up ignoring three of them!
Ditto. I am doing the same when I see the Giga "hanging out" just off the lawn. Same about the three POW plants !!
I only use Conceal-mint if I forget to plant a Blover ASAP (too easily distracted by everything happening around me)
EDIT: nice to know I am not as crazy as first suspected...
3.8m without mastery.
VICTORY TO MEEEEE!!!!!!🇬🇧
I also started a match without putting down any plants (again) and lost 1.79m to 1.8m.
I just put down 10 chard guards in c8, c9 and spam blover.

I tried your "ignoring the locked in plants entirely can improve my scores" strategy - and you're right!
I almost hit 3 M a few times, so going to stick with this until the new battlez comes on Tuesday.
It gives me a chance to keep improving my streak/upgrade my plants.
