Restore purchases glitch

Everytime I try to open the store, I get a pop up window to restore a plant I already own. I have no option but to click "restore purchase" then it kicks me out of the game. It's infuriating. Any tips on how to fix this? I've checked and there is no update that I need to do.

It's a known bug on iOS 14. Here is the workaround until it gets hopefully fixed:
Before you attempt to enter the store, switch your device to flight mode before doing so to avoid triggering the inescapable restore purchases loop. Once you're in that loop you can't terminate it besides force closing your game - it's an Apple process which ping's Apple's purchase servers.
Once you're successfully loaded into the store you can turn off flight mode.

This issue shouldn't be listed as Solved. The resolution presented here is only a workaround.
EA consider that you are losing revenue because of our lack of ability to use the Store. An expedited fix is necessary NOW

This bug needs to be fixed ASAP. It limits any way to access the store to purchase or upgrade things. In the past I have been able to get around this glitch but now it happens every time I try to enter the store. Please fix this issue.

Same. I made a purchase on May 14 and contacted EA Help. As of today, I still do not have the plant I purchased (Android) and they claim they're "researching" the issue. Foolishly, I purchased another plant which I also didn't get. So far, I'm out 39.99 with zero resolution. I get the restoring purchases, but it doesn't do anything. If I go into the store, it tries to restore both purchases, but I always get "0 purchases restored successfully." I have contacted EA Help so many times and at this point, they don't even respond. I've sent them documentation of the purchase numerous times. They are completely useless.

same has happened to me. they will not accept my proof of purchases sent deom tablet , have given up on using real cash to,purchase anything.

Same thing happens to me since the last update. I'm on the latest Android OS, So this isn't an IOS issue as previously stated.

This i part of the response I received.from EA. Looks like they do not really know what is going on or how to fix the problem.
I would also suggest you to install the game application on a second device, or borrow a device with the game installed from a friend.

1. Attempt to play the game on your account on a friend’s device. It is very important you ensure you are logged into your account on another machine.

2. Attempt to play the game on a friend’s account on your own device.

I get stuck on the same glitch screen! FRUSTRATING. EA, You are losing money! The king of microtransactions and you can't get the system to work correctly?!
