Congrats on the long streak mark !!    I am back in the x7 multiplier (streaked thru x4,x5,x6 this week) and over 1500 crowns too - screenshot of my latest high score

My best this week..

Strange thing about sunshrooms, sun production was variable then i stopped using powermints and they all produced lots of sun🌞, i tried it with bombardmint, spearmint, appeasemint, enchantmint and concealmint and they all cut back on sun production so i would guess that ANY powermint has a negative effect.

200 Crowns (40 wins) to unlock Zoybean Pod.

I kept my meager, low win streak with the update. Immediately lost it in the first match... Wasn’t worth the 10 Gems to save.

Sorry, no video.  just learning how to do screenshots !!   Trying to upload screenshot midgame but it is not working.  I have Mastery plants so I can plant 4 Cualis in the far left column and six MoonFlowers in a checkerboard pattern  in Column 4 & 5 so I can then plant Dusk Lobbers in C4, C5, C6 once the clock starts.  After starting the clock I place down Spearmint so I have two rows of Spikerocks in C8 & C9...add Caulis whenever available in C1 and C2 and fill in C4, C5, C6 ASAP (save one spot for Spearmint placement on the lawn)  as SUN allows so I am ready for the next Spearmint to fill C7 and C3 !!  I will wait if Spearmint is early to be sure C5, C6, C7 are filled (minus one slot of course).

Final plant is Concealmint and I have used one early but try to save for near the end for best use racking the score higher.

Final layout has 10 Caulis in C1 and C2 plus 4 Dusk Lobbers in rows 2 & 4 (C4-C7) and alternating MoonFlowers in rows 1,3,5 (depends exactly what else I place (DL or Cauli if I have more than 10)    Column 7 Spikerocks can be replaced once the second Spearmint has been put down (for spikerocls in C3)

For my Level 1 profile I am using Gold Bloom instead of Imitator (Cauli) along with Shadow Peashooter instead of Dusk Lobber (just not available yet for the profile) since I have been preoccupied with BattleZ instead of finishing Modern Day !!  Best score is 2.5M but average is just under 2M (when Zombies do not reach the Caulis)

I know. I’m sorry. I was posting in the hopes others would see it in time. 

I saw that the update was available, but figured I would keep trying to play....so far so good.

My streak is still alive @ 1362 and I have no plans to update unless forced to!

I am averaging better than 6M with my high Nastery plants; been so long since I used the Modern Day plants...

Moi aussi - no update until I'm forced, like hyacinths... my husband who worked in industry (maintenance for military) & who has much experience of charlie foxtrots advised me this morning to leave things be...

Being a novice I don't have hugely levelled-up plants but I'm happy with my Battlez progress using shadow plants this week - right where I want to be, mid-Gold League.

TYVM and I agree about the forum.  It is really helpful.

Considering how poor my win rate usually is, I think that I am getting better rewards with the new system than the old system. Probably because I am FTP and can’t afford to get my plants leveled up to max. A free Gauntlet at the start of the loop is nice, and the Piñatas are bigger than what I usually get.

I can see how this new system hurts the reward output for power players, but I am not one of them.

EA's target seems to be F2P so that is nice for them to hear about.

Perhaps the real goal is to entice F2P to get a taste and then stop being F2P ?

New streak reward is really weird,  I think no one use gems in battlez in this new version. Will save gems to buy packs.

GEMs will be needed top purchase Gauntlets.

I have 1205 gauntlets at the moment. How long do you think they will last in the new system? I haven’t read much on the gauntlet situation in the new system yet.

Yes, far as I know the cost for Gauntlets is the same.  How long  they last depends upon how much you play.  There is still the 4 FREE per day from Ads plus a FREE play every 4 hours

They are forcing the update now for battlez.

DO NOT RELOAD YOUR GAME UNLESS YOU HAVE TO. 

Keep your streak going as long as you can.

So does the reward multiplier ever come back or does the 7 loop just keep repeating?

It just keeps repeating. I just finished my 7th win with this Streak, an animation played where the check marks for the 7 wins disappeared, and and exact same 7 prizes reappeared.

For reference, the prizes are...

1: 1 Gauntlet

2: 4 Mints

3: 2 Premium Piñatas

4: 3000 Gold

5: 3 Themed Piñatas (currently lightning)

6: 6 Mints

7: 4 Premium Piñatas

I am in Silver league, if it matters.
