Should I save up my Gauntlets?

It's quite easy to be top of soil league, if you tap on the little "i" button you will see what the rewards are for coming first in each league.
As you climb up the leagues you will notice it gets harder because each zombies health is the same as the points you get for killing it and their attacking abilities increase as well.
The smarter players wait for tournaments that they do well in, go a long time between losses to conserve their gems and collect more gauntlets to increase their streaks, which is where the big rewards in mintz, gauntletz, coinz, and seedz are.
When you get to jade you will find it a bit of a nightmare, the toughest of zombies and streak killing bots (that don't exist, because EA says they don't) that make you lose around every 10th match.
300ish crowns would probably get you somewhere in the middle of the jade league table. At the time of writing this I'm 2nd with 520 crowns and number1 has 606 and it's only friday morning. My streak is about 430 so I'm on the 5x multiplyer and i don't give a toss about winning it, but i do want the x10 multiplyer back (lost it twice due to streak crashes) in time for the springening event.

Although, you have not answered my specific question; Should I spend my gauntlets and keep fighting in Soil? Or save up gauntlets for the next league?
P.S - Another question - Are the powered mint plants remain the same for each league? Or are they get replaced by time? How does this words?
For example, now the powered mint are melee plants. I saw earlier that there were different mints powered.
Btw, I got 98 candies, 2 candies away from getting the melee enforce-mint!

I think you might as well just play the free battlez and save the gauntletz for adz while keeping a wary eye on the opposition (they can become very active over the weekend).
I'm not sure what your ps means, powermints have the same duration and powers in each league, as do your plants.
If you are short on mints it might be better if you didn't get enforcemint and waited as i believe concealmint is the next powermint to be released (if they can find him!😁).
You have a big league in Soil League so my suggestion is to limit your play to just the FREE play every 4 hours and conserve your Gauntlets whilst keeping an eye on your opps to be sure they do not try and overtake you this weekend. Collect the FREE Gauntlets (and GEMs) every day (also play the Daily events for Gems). so you have Gems to buy more Gauntlets as your win streak grows. You have to reach the x6 multiplier at 491 wins and then you will be winning enough Gauntlets to no longer have to purchase Gauntlets with Gems.
Collecting mints is a good idea as some are very useful.
