Shrinking Violet bug

Recently I bought shrinking violet with 100 gems and used it in arena; however the shrinking effect never occurred.

Moreover all the plants were boosted (if I'm not mistaken it's a boosterama???). The shrinking violet's Plant Food Effect is to shrink all zombies on the lawn, making the bug more obvious.
