Another weird thing happened on the final day of last week's battlez (armamint week).
I was no.1 in jade with 541 crowns and no.2 had 504 (i think).
I keep a close eye on the leaderboard just in case but today is my mum's birthday and r****a got ahead of me.
I tried catching up but he/she kept ahead then i took an hour off and caught him/her off guard and overtook him/her before he/she noticed, only by 2 crowns but i was ahead, playing one match after another WITHOUT a break and generally winning but his/her score suddenly jumped to 7 crowns ahead of me, which is simply not possible unless something underhand happened. I managed to keep the no.1 spot but it cost me a lot of time and gauntlets to do so and considering the ammount of effort that r***a put into unseating me i find it strange that he/she isn't showing up on this week's leaderboard as he/she was no.2 last week.

@MAGICDAVESHROOM I think this is because you get different group of 14 opponents every week.
So to give them a chance for becoming someone else 'victim'.... 👿
I know that EA cheats me with forced losses, I'll have 5 wins where my score is about average, then I'll have a loss where my score is something like 15 to 25 standard deviations below the mean. After that forced loss, I'll have 5 more games where my scores falls within 1 standard deviation.
I always assumed that the names on the league board were actual players, but EA is so duplicitous and underhanded, they have no credibility as far as I'm concerned and I wouldn't put it past them to have computer-generated names occupying the slots in the rankings.
So in addition to the forced losses, I wouldn't put it past EA to just contrive rankings for faux players to bump real players down in rank to reduce the amount of gems and mints that they receive.

Plants are "disappearing" again, in 3 separate matches a witch hazel vanished for no apparent reason from the middle of the board.
Anyone else noticed anything?
Thankfully i HAVE NOT HAD THIS EXPERIENCE YET...I have found the upper left grave disappearing during a round and I can not figure out why...not complaining though !!!!
I've noticed a couple of tombstones disappear as well.

Could it be that EA's dev team is trying out Conceal-mint features which is soon to be introduced ? 👿
I get gmail telling me if i have private messages or forum notifications which has the message with pic or emojis but if i go to my EA account through my browser (chrome) then the pic or emoji is missing with the exception of battlez score screenshots, I've noticed things missing for a couple of months now, has anyone else noticed anything similar?
I use Chrome and have never had that happen (yet).
Lately I have been trying to insert images (thx for teaching me MagicDave) and when I hit submit the images do not always go thru and in a few instances I then see the previous messages "image" instead of the one I just inserted !! (I remember that you have made this same observation in the past) Also, images are being 'scanned' for virus' before being displayed and this I feel is a actually good thing. Although too late for myself if a virus is already gotten past my protection ! hmmm
If I return to the message via edit (again, MagicvDave, thank you for teaching me about that EA forum feature) I can then "resubmit" and the proper image appears ! Like Magic !
I have also received a message that I have no space to send additional message to other players !! Usually just last a little while and then I can send messages again ! Weird messaging system indeed.

Scanning for viruses is a very good thing, but as you observe, too late.
The last time i posted a screenshot in the level 1 mini forum it actually put YOUR screenshot from the next post up instead of mine.
I simply can't trust it to do as I'm telling it to so i have to go back after the virus checker has run to make certain it's gone through correctly.
A while back i noticed plants disappearing for no apparent reason, which has tailed off recently.
It's now back, I've been playing using threepeater/ torchwood in iron league and I've noticed threepeaters and sometimes torchwood vanishing for no reason, I've just seen it happen again where a threepeater near the back popped out of existence without being hit by a missile. It's sometimes hard to see through the vast quantity of peas being shot then spotting a gap when there shouldn't be one but on the left side of the screen there is less going on.
Anyone else notice anything?

I was thinking I was going crazy but maybe it really is the game afterall. Same experience but for me it is missing Bowling Bulbs.
I have played A LOT of battlez this week to get zoybean in 3 profiles and I've noticed a lot of threepeaters disappeared for no reason and also sprouts for the zen garden keep appearing. Weird.
I put down a spear mint and 2 spear mints pop up.

In the last tournament i ran into an empty lawn tile that wouldn't let me plant anything on it.
@HenryThePear , that only happen if the game freeze for a sec (in your case, first you plant spear-mint from C4/R1 and the game freeze, and you re-plant spear-mint C4/R3), the mechanism is also same like sun-plant during boosterama (if you click+hold sun-plant and click start, when the timer reach 0, you can plant it again means you can plant 2 sun-plant (with boost) instead 1)
In the last tournament i posted what i thought would be the final score in the league leaderboards thread but number two made a snEAk attack, which i spotted so i started playing again.
I checked the score regularly, definitely 338 vs his 333 and played again, i won and checked again and it was still 338 vs 333 so i didn't get my 5 crowns for a win.
You only get one crown if you let the match play out and you lose, nobody gets anything if they surrender now.
I remember there was a big stink about it a long while ago, you used to get one crown if you surrendered OR lost but someone kept on surrendering just to get the one crown every few seconds and racked up a massive score so it was changed.
