Spikeweed won't unlock

Hey guys, so I've been playing Plants vs. Zombies 2 (iPad) a lot recently, and it's been crashing a lot after I beat levels. I've been getting full progess for the levels even after they have crashed though. Unfortunately there is one exception, when I beat the level that is before the Spikeweed it crashed and didn't give the plant to me. I figured it was just being a little glitchy so I continued. I then beat the level where you unlock the spring bean and it unlocked just fine. Since then I have gone back to the level with the SPikeweed and beaten on three different occasions WITHOUT it crashing and it still won't unlock. Any help guys? Thanks in advance!

    I really hope you found a fix for this because I just had this issue with the Pepper-pult, and seeing no responses for your problem is a bad sign for mine. xP  Yours is worse though because I thinkn the pepperpult isn't nearly as critical a plant as a spikeweed. D=  Sure, you can use SpikeROCK, but they cost so much more that it isn't always efficient to use them.... =C

    Same problem here. I can't get pepper-pult either ☹️
    Really dumb how you can't replay the level to get the plant...
