What device are you using?
I have not experienced this problem myself but I recall there is a tracking option on the iOS system settings. So if you are using an iPhone, I guess you could try the following and see if it makes any difference.
1. Close the PVZ2 App
2. Enter Settings (iOS system)
3. Select Privacy & Security
4. Select Tracking
5. Locate your PvZ2 App and try toggle the setting
6. Restart the PVZ2 App.
If you are using an Android device, I hope there is a knowledgable member can add comment and advice.
