Unable to make purchases

I have been unable to make purchases in Plants vs Zombies 2 for over a week.  I get an error message that says "Unable to complete purchase.  Please try again later."  There is no error code number.  My payment method seems to be correct.  

I am using a Moto G Power 2021.  My last purchase was April 13, 2023.  I have rebooted, restarted the game, and run all Google Play system updates.
 
In searching your help forums I see that many people are also reporting this problem but I have not found any responses from the company with a solution.
I'm sure you would like for people to spend money in your games.  Please let me know how to fix this issue so that I can make purchases.

    @niknakfrosty Totally agree!! I submitted on here yesterday, submitted a help ticket with loom video and two screenshots and everyone from EA was NOT helpful. They are losing money. I dont get it. EA: fix your own game issues and stop deflecting the problem. FIX THE ISSUE. ENOUGH ALLREADY>

    Please look into this. I see you are responding to other threads, so why not help with this big issue that is going for almost a year? 

  • I have bought some plants with money a few years ago on my old phone. I got a new phone a while ago and transferred my PvZ2 account in there. I got everything back, along with the purchased plants. But there was a problem I keep dealing with: I get this annoying pop-up whenever I start the game and when I enter the shop it says "restoring purchase" and immediately goes "unable to complete purchase. Please try again" This is a problem for me because whenever I want to buy something from the shop it keeps popping up and until I get the problem solved it's just gonna block me from buying things from the shop. What do I gotta do to get rid of this?

    This problem has been going on for close to 2years now. They are aware as they acknowledged it ages ago but EA either cant or wont fix it.
