Why is it hard to remember ketchup?
I don't use alot of ketchup, but for the things I use it on, it is absolutely essential. I can't imagine a cheeseburger without it nor would I eat curly fries without some of that sweet red sauce. But my favorite is having my scrambled eggs with a topping of cheese, hot sauce and of course, ketchup.
I've known for a couple of weeks my ketchup was low. 3 weeks ago when I last had scrambled eggs, I made a mental note. Earlier this week when I grilled up a burger, I remarked on the shortage. 2 days ago when I popped in a serving of Wal-Mart seasoned fries, I was already beating on the bottle. But oh the humanity, I just did up a batch of sausage and eggs for breakfast and now I find myself carefully adding water to the now empty bottle just to get a taste!
I have been to the store 6 or 7 times since I noticed the lack of that tomato ambrosia. In that time, I have managed to remember to buy Thai Peanut Sauce, pink sea salt and Nuk Mom Asian fish sauce. Perhaps I was fooled by that inverted bottle sitting on the shelf with its red coating still clinging to the sides. But sadly I have failed to restock my cabinet.
Anyway the rewards this week bite Royal Canadian Moose. That is all.
