- So I’m back for another part to my suggestions on how to fix PvZ 3
im going to start with plant buffs
sunshroom buff
11 seconds > 9 seconds - start up sun
sun production 30 seconds > 27 seconds
growth time 72 seconds > 50 seconds (the levels are not long enough to justify the long growth time)
- a major polish in his model is definitely needed
snow pea buff
- rng ability added , 10% to freeze a single zombie for 3s
Squash and tangle kelp
- fix their aims sometimes they miss and it can be wasteful
- make sure squash kills gargs in 2 hits
Umbrella leaf
- fix the problem where sometimes her ability does not work on bowling zombies
- there’s also a visual glitch where it looks like she has a mouth
Bamboo shoots
- decrease fire rate by 2 secs
- increase knock back by 2m
Now for the other misc stuff
- a proper loading screen would be nice before the game starts like how PvZ 2 has a cool art to it use the PvZ 3 art
- treat these as test levels before you separate into different worlds
- begonia needs a serious amount of polish it’s messy a few times and doesn’t feel cooked all the way through
- some plant models needs polish especially sunshroom and bonk choy
- some plant placements are too close to lily pads eyes and needs to be in the centre
- plant food must be added
- new shop options
- extra permanent mo for 1500 coins
How does this work : once a mo is gone you get another one that pops up straight after
- baby peashooter and sunflower skins for 500 coins each (just a cute little idea)
Devour tower - new game mode
this will be a new game mode that will feature a series of levels (around 100) and it’ll be multiple seasons and prizes , (21 days long) the levels change every 3 weeks
floor 50 will get you 1 basic power up of each before you start a level
floor 100 would be a special prize
- you can pick your plants
- each level is random and the lawn from the original PvZ 3 will be used in some way
- gimmicks
zomboss lasers that will cover up a lane throughout the battle ,
- ambushes
- random zombie buffs
and more
This is all of part 2 I hope you guys give it a good read and let me know what you think (: part 3 will be focusing on how to make begonia a good and memorable world (part 2.5) kinda
Also there’s no loading marigold at all
