My Feedback about Plants vs Zombies 3 Soft Launch

Hello, this is KEVINNGW808 or KEVINNGW2. I have been PVZ fan since elementary. Play PvZ everyday, Heroes majority.

The day when PvZ 3 Soft Launch released, I was hoping PopCap and EA fix the game after we, PvZ communtiy made lots of feedback to make the game better after old Beta 2021 and 2022. Both beta was was 50/50 good and bad for most of players. They are tons of negatives than positives, except in arts and new plants/zombies.

But now, soft launch has been release and what we get? NOTHING! The game still same with Homescapes/Gardenscapes gameplay, except the story is different than previous Beta.

I play every levels, now I reach level level 85, and I have lots of complaints despite the game is still not better at all.

Here I summary lots of feedbacks here: 

PROS:

- The story is technically little better than previous, as we can see Tugboat, reference to PvZ Comic, although I never read it. It's revealed Tugboat and his work with Zomboss and Mo lore in this game is better.

- Add feature to give feedback for how fun those levels, even I have no idea will you take the feedback or not.

NEGATIVES:
- The gameplay still uses Homescapes/Gardenscapes concept, which I don't like it. Imagine PvZ ads uses this.
- We still unable to CHOOSE PLANTS! We have enough with Locked and Loaded levels, except mini-game levels. I need Bonk Choy every level because those levels are hard as hell.

- We still unable to see what zombies are coming before begin the level.

- Boost plants are still same. Use coins or real currency to get more.

- No replayable levels.

- The game may fast, but too short.
- Regarding fast and short, the zombies are come too fast and spam everything at you and no time to prepare everything.
- A gimmick where you win lots of times, the levels later will be harder. So goes to when you lose a level lots of times, the levels will be easier later. (PvZ 2 dynamic difficulty moment)
- Lots of tutorial levels.
- Waves of zombies. Just imagine a level where just 1 Zombie appears then goes to Final Wave afterward. Or a wave where 3 Zombies comes (imagine there are Imps, they are very very annoying) during early waves.
- Conehead/Buckethead Spam. There's like, 3 Bucketheads in one lane.
- There are some levels that impossible to beat without use Boosts.
- Lacks of new plants and new zombies. Where are Silversword and Chili Bean?
- No almanac, tho not important but very good feature.
- Microtransaction, although it's not affected, but most players are still mad for it.
- Most plants are weaker and zombies are slighty stronger as before.
- Mo is the only lawnmower, still.
- Live system, this is such a joke feature.
- Arena/Leaderboard is different, but it still sucks.
- Level design moment.

Listen, we want better than this. This is not PvZ 3 as we know, this is just a spin-off. The franchise in entirely ruined by this.
Please, communicate again with us and communicate to other EA/PopCap staff. Please reach us and respond to our feedback this time.
For next full release, we don't want any disappointment again.

How to make the game better?
Mix both PvZ 3 2020 and this soft launch into one game. Where we can choose plants, play with PvZ 3 elements, but still revive the neighborhood concept, not like Homescapes thing. We able to see what zombies are coming, tacobilities, plants foods, boss battles, and mroe (as long as no leveling, it's fine. Honest I don't mind it before). Or honest, I like PvZ 3 2020 version to replace this.

Just, please, we need something better. EA/PopCap, please listen to our feedback and communicate with us and PvZ 3 staffs.
