My thoughts and suggestions on PvZ3 (from a dedicated fan)
Hey EA and the PvZ3 team, You might remember me as Oswald001. I said only a few things during the development of the old PvZ3 (the 3D one, that everyone kind of disliked for it's art style.) From 2019 to 2021.
I played through all 150 levels. The later levels were a pain as I pretty much ran out of coins. I'm pretty much the first person to beat this new version of PvZ3. The art style and story is fun, of course everyone is mixed on the Gardenscapes decoration system, but you can probably keep that for some areas of the game. Because a main thing people are complaining about the most is the gameplay. Like, why does it take Peashooters to kill a Browncoat with 14 peas instead of 10? Why do the zombies spawn so quickly? And why does the Pigeon Feeder have no limit on spawning pigeons?
Well I can probably help you PvZ3 devs. I know you guys got backlash with the old PvZ3. But maybe you should probably bring back SOME things from the old pvz3 while still keeping the current story, the art style, and bits of gameplay. Because you shouldn't scrap all of this to remake it again. So here's some mockups for you to improve on over time.

PvZ3 devs, if you actually read this, I hope you listen to this. I love these games and I don't want to end badly. I've played the old short-lived Facebook game, and every single version of PvZ3. I thought both were good but they still had a few flaws. I recommend you to take a break from PvZ2 to focus on PvZ3. I really hope you have alot of stuff from old pvz3 archived for everything, I don't want all of that to be thrown away.
Main problems:
Sunflower produces sun way too slow, especially in some levels where you only have limited sunflowers when you don't have sunflowers in your seed bank.
You can't choose your plants (Obviously, but please bring this back and make levels with locked selective of plants be special little levels.)
Zombies kill plants way too quickly (three bites, it was six in pvz1)
Zombie spawning is too quick for early game, you can't get enough time to actually set up defenses.
Pigeon Feeder doesn't have a limit for how many Pigeons he can spawn, plus his cooldown on spawning pigeons is very short.
Peashooters take 14 peas to defeat a Browncoat.
Suggestions:
Bring back the buildings in areas from old pvz3, you know the ones that give you slight benefits over time, you can still decorate around the building similar to the Gardenscapes gameplay
Bring back the leveling system, for replay value.
Bring back the Devour Tower (it's probably planned anyways later in the story)
This is probably it for my general thoughts and suggestions for PvZ3. I hope the remaining PvZ3 devs have a good time, and I wish you handle the toxic players well, whoever the current community manager is.
