Polite feedback for pvz 3

Plants vs. Zombies 3 is the latest installment in the popular tower defense franchise by PopCap Studios and Electronic Arts. The game was soft launched in selected countries on January 18, 2024, with the promise of bringing back the classic lane-based gameplay and expanding the world of PvZ with new characters and lore. However, the game has received a lot of negative feedback from the fans, who have pointed out several flaws and issues that make the game less enjoyable and more frustrating. In this article, we will review some of the main complaints and suggest some possible improvements for the final version of the game.

Level Design

One of the biggest problems with PvZ 3 is its level design. The levels are too short, too easy, and too repetitive. The game lacks the strategic depth and challenge that made the previous games so engaging and fun. The player has little control over the placement and selection of plants, and the game often forces the use of boosters to deal with the overwhelming number of zombies. The boosters are consumable items that can be purchased with real money or earned through daily quests and rewards. However, many players feel that the game is too reliant on boosters and microtransactions, and that the game is designed to make the player spend more money rather than enjoy the gameplay.

Plants

Another issue with PvZ 3 is the lack of originality and variety in the plants. Most of the plants are recycled from the previous games, such as Peashooter, Sunflower, Wall-nut, and Potato Mine. The game does introduce some new plants, such as Flak Seed, Boom Balloon Flower, and Starfruit, but they are not enough to compensate for the absence of many fan-favorite plants, such as Cactus, Chomper, Squash, and Melon-pult. The game also limits the player’s choice of plants for each level, and does not allow the player to customize their own plant deck. This reduces the replay value and the creativity of the game, and makes the game more boring and predictable.

Replayable Levels

A third problem with PvZ 3 is the lack of replayable levels. The game is divided into episodes, each with a set of levels and a boss fight. However, once the player completes an episode, they cannot replay the previous levels or the boss fight. This is a major drawback, as it prevents the player from experimenting with different strategies, earning more rewards, or simply having fun with the game. The game also does not have any other modes, such as endless mode, mini-games, or multiplayer mode, that could add more variety and replayability to the game.

Conclusion

Plants vs. Zombies 3 is a disappointing soft launch that fails to live up to the expectations of the fans and the standards of the franchise. The game has many flaws and issues that make the game less enjoyable and more frustrating. The game needs a lot of improvement and feedback before it can be released worldwide. We hope that the developers will listen to the community and make the necessary changes to make the game better and more fun. We also hope that the game will not be rushed or cancelled, as it has a lot of potential and could be a great game if done right.

@cheekymnky2p Thank you for taking the t time to post this feedback for the team to take a look into. We always love it when players take the time t o write out their thoughts on the game in detail like this. It helps prevent vague feedback and having to follow up with questions when they could be easily put into the thread.

Thank you again. Will be pushing this to the team so that they can review this along with the other players feedback!

    Cheers!
