I'm not surprised but am disappointed by this cost. Some of us do have a lot of coins (I had saved a ton in anticipation of new packs), but many do not. They obviously want people to buy coin packs but this will often have the opposite effect; instead of newer players or those that can't play too much being incentivized to play more or buy the coins, they may very well stop playing altogether. In a game that focuses on multiplayer matches we can't afford to drive new players away.

I agree... not surprised but disappointed... I'm pretty sure Justin said in the live stream that the cost was very reasonable or something similar... reasonable for whom I'm not sure.
Terribly unfair to many folks, those with not the time, children who had saved like mad for the update and still cant afford even the customisations. There would have been a lot of disappointed kids out there (and adults) last night.
And not only but also... those that had the gingerbread dude and rudolf as their legacy gift got offered nothing yesterday... why are they doing it like that. Slow drip feed after all the hype.
Very disappointing.
Buying coins is surely hugely expensive, I would never do that but even if I wanted to I could not justify such a lot of cash for game coins.
Do a lot of folks buy them?
