Have you already power-cycled your router as well as disabled your firewall/antivirus software? Please turn off or delete any proxy related software on your machine and run Origin as well as PvZ:GW as administrator.

It comes after the Maintaince...
In the Game sometimes it stucks for 1-3 Seconds or the connection to the Server in the Game will be lost...
Before the Maintaince and Update it was not so.
Have you already tried to repair the game via Origin or deleted PVZ in order to re-install the game?
