I use the Future Dummy more than one would expect! It's great for Ops as the weeds happily commit suicide themselves on them! The regular dummy is overall the best though, as it's a nice balance between the others.. The shield decoy is destroyed so easily that it doesn't work out all that well, even if you get a ton of them out.
I find the BfN shield dummy is much like you say, very much like Winston's from OW, but more effective in general, even if not as useful as Citron's. It can be decent at longer ranged protection though, as plant's up close can get under it and destroy easily close up.
