I love Long Bomb in GW and GW2. Yes, it's harder to use than the regular Imp Punt, but it's oh so satisfying when it works!
Imp Punt in BfN just doesn't work well at all. It just limply falls off your foot and is the buggiest version of all 3 games.
It needs that windup we've talked about and seen on Reddit too. It's essentially a better chili bean bomb as it does similar damage and has no warning. It's a fun ability but really needs to give the plants a warning as it can one-shot so many characters.

@Iron_Guard8 Long bomb players often know the maps and their positioning and it leads to really interesting gameplay choices from them that are fun to watch and not rage enducing when you die.
Bfn imp punt is just terrible. Its so incredibly buggy and the hit detection is horrid. I also find it hilarious that it was nerfed in the game that neuters the most. The upgrades are also pretty bad.
It needs a longer windup animation or a longer fuse. If these were added I would be ok with it being able to push plants back. Maybe holding it longer determines how far it will go?
I can't believe they allowed an ability like it in gw1 given that it eliminates the entire plant team besides upgraded chomper.
It definitely needs changes in a gw3.
