All Star, Soldier and Corn rate of fire speed inconsistencies

All characters mentioned have inconsistencies in their rate of fire. In fact sometimes their weapons slow down so much its feels like they are going to stop shooting all together. This happens at random and not when ammo is low.

I am pretty sure this is related to an unstable frame rate. It is far worse in split-screen and in gametypes with more players. This game needed a lot more polish before release. I am personally using an xbox one, but it seems to affect every platform. It has of course not been officially acknowledged.

  • @FootSoldier9908 I have noticed this with Scientist. Shots not firing in a firefight even when I have ammo. It feels like he’s reloading, but he’s not. Haven’t noticed any issues with All Star, a character I play frequently. (Xbox)

  • Happened to me with soldier, but only if a I was hiting someone, firerate dropped significantly. Played on xbox one x and wihout lags

  • Sounds like this could be a reason for the issues. It constantly happens though and other shooters I have not noticed it. Hopefully the game will play better in time. Today is the first day that I have not played the game since day one. I feel that I may not come back to this game too much.

I play one xbox as well and have no lags. frame rate sounded like a good explanation but maybe it is something else. I have the same issue with soldier while landing direct hits. More so than any other mentioned.

It is definitely not the frame rate. I decided to jump back on the game just to confirm and I play one round of turf with the soldier. The frame rate was smooth. When ever I was shooting foes, if I stopped with out reloading then started again it would lag on fire rate drastically. Every time.

  • @FootSoldier9908 @Kormi141 This corresponds with my observation about Scientist. I have not been experiencing lag either, and the issue was only noticeable to me when in close combat with another player. If I stood off to the side of the map and fired my weapon into thin air, everything felt smooth, but in combat it felt like my weapon was jamming. I haven't played soldier yet, so can't comment on his rate of fire.
  • But anytime the frame rate worsens, so does the rate of fire. I don’t believe you can go into split-screen and tell me otherwise. It could be something else though. You can never be absolutely certain.
