Hey @i333cat,
That's really odd.
Have you tried repairing the game files in Origin, and re-launching the game?
Also, have you tried unplugging your mouse and plugging it back in, or using a different USB port?

Sadly, none of that worked.
@i333cat Can you try changing the keybindings? Press esc, then click on the gear icon next to "cool stats," then controls, then keybindings. You'll see "look up" and "look down" have both keyboard and mouse settings by default. You can try using the keys to fix your perspective, and if that doesn't help, changing the assigned keys and using those instead. It might also help to assign look up and look down to the scroll wheel on your mouse instead of just the motion of the mouse up and down.
@puzzlezaddict for some reason, doing that does nothing.

it suddenly works after connecting an xbox controller
I had a similar problem, turned out every control was randomly mapped to the mouse
