And why does EA "need to implement" your demands?

You have to wait an extra 10-15 seconds. So what. You get your win and players who leave early get awarded a loss.

If someone knows they are getting a loss, why would they waste time conceding and then having to sit through the tedious after game animations.

It's much faster to force quit the app and restart.

Nobody shouod be punished for a disconnect, they should first fix the issue by not disconnecting a player if they receive a call. 

'm curious why you titled this "Anti cheaters measures needed". Do you believe disconnecting is cheating? 

Although it may be slightly inconvenient, it is definitely not "cheating." There are cases of real cheating where the hacker forces their opponent to disconnect right when they are about to lose which needs to be dealt with but the "issue" you are complaining about is a non-issue. So you have to wait a few extra seconds for a win, big deal. 

Also it would be pretty hard for the game to be able to differentiate disconnecting due to the app crashing from disconnecting due to closing the app. And if people wanted to they could just throw their phone in airplane mode and avoid the penalty if Popcap were to make more of a penalty for force-quit rather than loss of internet connection. EA will not change it because as it stands it is not an issue.

So you are saying that because you don't want to wait 3-4 sec of animation (even probably restart takes longer) you are making the other player wait 15-20 sec?.

Sorry to say but that's really selfish. Assume your loss and surrender.

The problem is EA servers are one big piece of a failure, so you actually never know if your opponent closed the app or you suddenly should "check your internet connection and try again" despite your internet is working just fine. Since 2 stars and possible 3 more games depend on it of course you will feel yourself nervous every time it happens.

I don't get my win when it happens to me. It's like the game never happened. There is no record of it. I've read that for other people it actually gives them a loss. It's an obvious problem that is completely anti-competitive and a method for people to cheat their way into a perfect record. Honestly can't see what your actual dispute is here. It's obviously a problem.

People are disconnecting their internet because then EA will assume it was a connectivity issue and they won't have to take the loss, so they can maintain a perfect record. So it's cheating 100%
