Are the community managers still active in the PvZ forums?

Hello again, everybody!

I just quickly wanted to point out something I have noticed:

I have started exploring answers hq and have noticed many community managers post in the forums of the other games. Like not just helping with technical issues, but actually interacting and discussing the games a little bit. I think this is pretty cool. Then I took a look at the older posts here on the PvZ forums. Many had some sort of community manager activity. I encountered many names I haven't seen before. The only community manager I know has been very active in the PvZ community is @EA_David.

Does this mean anything?

I don't want to criticize the community managers, I think they are doing awesome work.

I just wonder if they have been told to focus on newer games and if EA thinks PvZ is dead. If so, this would make me very sad ☹️.

Again, I like keeping a positive tone, but with the lack of dev presence and the community managers seemingly focusing more on other titles, does this really mean PvZ isn't important to EA anymore? The lack of marketing for this game since the beginning is also very indicative of this.

I hope everyone reading this has had a nice day, good night!

  • @benn1nat0r You and sprinter made them obsolete. All I remember them doing is warning me for swearing or posting cookie cutter knowledge base articles for things like how to report cheating.
  • @benn1nat0r Pretty sure I've only seen EA John actually do stuff on the discord. Otherwise he doens't really have any relevant information about the game from any of his other posts.

@EA_David Haha thanks for letting me know!

I was just wondering in general, because there have been a few community managers besides you that commented rather frequently in the beginning. I thought EA wants to redirect the attention to other games, since BfN received little marketing.

I know you can't comment on such things like budget and so on, and it really doesn't matter for such a fan forum. I just want the game to have more public acknowledgement in general.

Thank you for helping the PvZ community 🙂!

I also noticed a few of my ideas have received xp from other community managers as well, but I haven't seen them post on the PvZ forums before and so I was a little confused. I just started exploring answers hq and thought the community manager, including you, make very cool posts sometimes. I guess there haven't been many opportunities to. Other games shared some new videos for updates and so on and PvZ hasn't really had any of these exciting things, so there doesn't seem to be much the community managers can talk about with the Community, besides helping out when there are technical issues.
