Are the servers down? Stuck on the Welcome Back (Origin login screen) (Xbox One)

So, I just bought this today. Brought it home and installed it. For 2 or more hours i've only gotten as far as the Welcome Back (origin login) screen. (Gee this is a great game!) Wondering if there are server issues or something else going on. Yes, I've quit and restarted the game. Yes, I've uninstalled and reinstalled. Yes, I really do have a working internet connection. Yes, I've tried connecting to other services/apps via internet on my Xbox One and everything is working fine. Tried the 'contact us' call back scam, I mean, solution, haven't been contacted yet. (was supposed to be 25mins or so, been an hour+)

    Have you tried a power cycle on you Xbox One?

    • While the console is on, press and hold the console’s Xbox button for 5 seconds.
    • The console will power down.
    • Wait 30 seconds, and then turn your console back on by again pressing the Xbox button

    If its your origin account, you can try a couple things:

    - Easiest: make a new account.  

    - Or when customer service gets back to you, have them look into your origin account.  You might want to see if your able to log into other ea games as well in case its a common problem
