Astronaut deserve a buff

These days i'm still noticing people COMPLAIN 24/7 Scientists.
To be honest i'm playing recently this class, and i don't even bother myself to explain why this class is useless right now, although the problem could just be the citron spam, but i'm not sure,  except at getting carryed, which ofc seems to be justifyed by this magic word called "support".

So we've come into a strange situation, when chomper and scientists, i compare these two, because they have a similiar gameplay for many aspects (at least.. close-range scientists, those who matters) we blame chompers to be weak at assassin people and scientists too strong.
Don't even try to tell me that most of scientists have a ranged weapon, because if you use that, and no-one trade you back, means you're playing against a team of dumb sleepers ,or simply autistics... or Corn players, which is the same, well if you snipe with it, good job, but you could just have played a Deadbeard and having more profit.

So since everyone on this community hate a lots Scientists to be seen as an assassin character (and not a support, TLDR, he's not) Why don't make Astronaut enough strong as a Sunflower?

He lacks a good reticle, a good hitbox (to make easier to hit) and maybe a little bit damage.
He's the one that fits the perfect role of "stay back, heal and revive as much as possible, don't rush in people faces, do more damage than you can" much similiar to sunflower. So since his gameplay.. is not toxic, and when i say toxic i mean something that doesn't really frustrate you, why can't we just address people to play a role that is officially accepted by everyone in this community?

Selfish scientists not giving a **** to allies will not totally solved, but a small buff that help people to play the support role you really like, can improve the situation.

  • So only complaining about the astronaut... what about the archaeologist. The archaeologist is just a weaker version of the paleontologist. These 3 scientist are perfect examples of range. Also the astronaut is strong if you know how to aim.

Astronauts are fine that way. They're meant to be 'Supports' meaning they shouldn't rely on dealing excessive amounts of damage. (Although Sunflowers have their damage output increased, but they're still primarily healers like Scientists)

@ShavedThronel0 everything is good if you know how to aim. this is not the problem. Well if you have a good aim then i guess Imps health was fine too, right?
why don't we just address people to play what can be not blamed by the community?
Burst nuker character are hated by every game community, and in the end sometimes seems to have some low winrate too, but still blamed because people feel unfair to play against those.

He's fine, while he have overall a lower damage output then sunflower in general and less ammo,he do have something pretty big that sunflower don't have: Mobility, thank to warp,it allow him to escape stuff sunflower would die to and to get around the battlefield more effectively.

Also he also got buffed compared to GW1 anyway.

Meh. Using Warp on Astronaut is kinda of waste. I prefer the other one, don't remember the name. but this is not the point.
The point. his gameplay his accepted by everyone.. buffing him or making him easier to play will not everyone complain him anyway, so why not?
He could have some mobility or survivability, but still you can't compare sunflower pot with heal ball.
Like wtf, you complain 24/7 still chemist to be op or useless at supporting because he's probably not running heal beam, and the only one scientist that could use a sunflower gameplay negleting some accessibility!

    @xXFrozenChromeXx

I think they should only increase the projectile speed by a decent amount. His DPS at long range is higher than most Sunflowers, and I honestly like the crosshair. It has this nice point in the middle, it work quite well for him. Maybe the damage could be increased by 1 point at long range, but with his ease of use, I'm not sure if this is the best idea.

@xxSe4l-MLG420xx  I don't like that much the crosshair, for some reason makes me thing that is hard to be accurate. I have more proficient with sunflower, i don't know why.
With sunflower i don't even anymore press the zoom button... almost NEVER. Are hitbox more big in sunflower weapon? i'm confused.
