Plants vs Zombies BFN switch 2 backwards compatibility update?

Since the launch of the switch 2 many videos online have shown that bfn struggles to run on the new hardware with graphics issues and crashing randomly. Do you think we could ever see an update to fix these issues and improve performance?

Please fix this EA, I bought a switch 2 primarily for BFN with smoother frames, and it DOESN'T EVEN WORK. :(
