The changes here aren't bad but I was expecting more...
This Needed:
- Damage drop-off as well ( the velocity and drag distance may not be the right decision, but I'm willing to try it)
- Healing and Overheal Nerfs and Scientist/Sunflower Survivability Nerfs (Warp and Sunny Side Up)
- Rocket Ride Damage Nerf ( Can wipe out groups of enemies way too quickly)
- Blue Blazes Damage Nerf ( Homing projectile that will hit almost every time. Does 125 damage and ONE SHOTS 7 of the 10 zombie classes. Which leaves All-Star, 80s, and Superbrainz with very little health.)
- Jazz Hands Nerf. I'm disappointed Time Snare got nerfed but nothing happened to Jazz Hands which also has long and frequent stuns
These are the biggest balance issues as far as I'm aware.
I am very surprised there was no changes to Sunflower or Scientist at all! Are people just not discussing these guys enough? These classes are probably the single most broken characters in this game. I am talking about Sunflower mostly, but both classes are extremely hard to kill with a good team backing them up. Their Healing is one of the biggest reasons why there are stalemates, and they can make a team unstoppable. This is a huge balancing issue that has been missed completely.
There is a lot that could be learned from looking back to the GW games, especially when it comes to Healing. Healing has never been this powerful, and I don't mind Overheal (as long as it's effect isn't permanent), but the GW2 in particular balanced Healing very well.
