I searched for the video from last night and couldn't find one so I just made another.
I recorded from the time I started the game till finish (over 40 minutes in real time captured in 15 minute sections due to PS4 settings).

@MrKritiek I was honestly asking why you were in the thread if you weren't just trolling. I asked this because of your insinuating I was lying. Up to this point, I've never experienced you as a troll which is why I was caught off guard by your reply. I don't exaggerate or lie and I spend TONS of time trying to help provide developers with videos of a variety of issues with the game. I think it's fair to say nobody else has come close to the video footage I've sent or posted the team and that's dating back to GW2 (I didn't record footage in GW1 but I played it). Point being, I'm not here to flame developers and in fact, feel sorry for them for the way this game has turned out. I think the software is different here, specifically, the mechanics related to movement and shooting. I also feel the servers lag is to blame for much of the instability currently in the game.
That said, in NO WAY would I ever consider wasting time or posting/"complaining" about something that wasn't majorly BROKEN. I pay just north of $100 per month for internet service and am considered to be on a business package. My next option is $300 per month and I'd pay it/use the service but I've "test driven" it for a week and the game doesn't play differently; I still ping 50 - 70 to my best server.
I spend time reporting these issues because I've been asked to so it wouldn't make sense for me to lie. Hope this makes sense to ya.
I play on ALL servers with BA. The only servers I've not played on are Asia and Australia. European servers take FOREVER for me to play, too (PS4). I can record that, too, if anyone doubts what I'm saying but it's truly worse for me on European servers. I think this is because of my high rank but can only guess the algorithm.

I've played a few games of Ranked since it launched. For me I haven't noticed any chance in the waiting times, which is to say I experienced really long waits for full lobbies prior to the change and I continue to experience really long waits for lobbies after the change. While I have had decent continuous matches with short waits those were, and continue to be, few enough and far between enough that I don't really bother with Battle Arena.
As far as performance as Plants, the last game I played several days ago we, as Plants, were getting trounced 0-3 and saw some light taunting from the Zombie team as they closed in on what was starting to look like an easy Win for them but then we managed to turn it around and win the next 4 rounds to take the game, and were treated to someone on the Zombie team calling out "You guys are hella trash" on their mic before half the lobby dropped out.
But that, honestly, was about on par with the level of toxicity I've witnessed in other areas of the game but I don't doubt that with the introduction of Ranked we'll see a lot more problem behavior from people who have their Ego wrapped up a bit too much in the game.
I'd blame server issues on EA since my experiences with EA games with online multiplayer modes in general has seen the same server problems consistently across all games which they publish.
Anyone who doesn’t know, @realitysquared has played BA with me (pre-Ranked), like many PS4’ers here. I LOVED the mode until Ranked.
.... yeah, @realitysquared .... I’m not sure whether you paid attention to the hours I logged playing BA before (via PSN list showing me in Funderdome) but the BAD toxicity was only ~10% matches on most days. Now, I’ve played 9-10 matches and only ONE wasn’t toxic. 😢. I always want to win but prefer having fun and just doing decent with frags. Now, I hardly win and the fun is gone. To make it worse, if I tried to play 8 hours in a day, I honestly doubt I could complete 10 matches because of the delay in connecting to EA and matchmaking in Ranked.
To be fair, the servers only got this bad after the last update. I had moments of instability before but now the inconsistency in connectivity is (literally) the only constant.
