- Launch the game → EA Javelin auto-update triggers.
- Expected: Javelin downloads the latest version (as of now, the latest version is January 2026 release) and the game launches.
- Actual:
- Javelin downloads the July 2025 release if the installed version ≠ July 2025 release.
- Game fails to launch with error 115, prompting a manual update via installer.
- Critical Cycle:
- Manual update via installer succeeds (Javelin version = January 2026).
- Next game launch reverts Javelin to the July 2025 version, repeating the failure.
